    Getting there slowly and its actually really nice to make the overpayments (no matter how small) and know it's money I won't ever pay interest on again :)

    bringing my 2015 total to £507.63/£3000 or 17%.

    Have just applied for our new mortgage product - if approved it will enable us to double our built in OPs :j

    The smallest ones add up! My OP on my first mortgage was only £25, but it all contributes to the saving of INTEREST!

    I'm an old poster overpaid about £60,000 in total. Started in 2010 with £140,000, now owe around £58,000 but I'm also now a single parent so it'll be a much slower, harder road
