£200 - £400, you settled at £350?

What a waste of a thread. I 'love it' when people ask for advice, and then completely ignore it, and now its cost them £350.0 -
Just to add to this. I lost a case when I sold a car privately. Cost me £1800.00....

I have opinions, you have opinions. All of our opinions are valid whether they are based on fact or feeling. Respect other peoples opinions, stop forcing your opinions on other people and the world will be a happier place.0 -

The mediator phoned me up and asked how much would I settle for so I told him that I offered £200 in the beginning and I would give him that. He rang again a little while later and said the guy wanted at least £400. We settled on £350 in the end and now I got confirmation that its all over. Its still £350 that I have lost but at least I dont have to go to court now and I can put it behind me and move on. Thanks to everyone for the brilliant advice and help.
Mediate?
2nd hand 12 year old car?
took him 3 weeks to find a fault?
youve been had, the buyer ragged it and broke it
I sold an old campervan on Fleabay, full MOT, bit smoky, guy came and paid the full asking as it was so tidy
3 weeks later he sent me an ebay message "we went away for a week in it and now it wont start".........pmsl......like im the RAC?
He told me Ebay says buyers are always right and what am i going to do? I said i was booking 2 weeks in Spain with his money and Ebay dont back motor sales or cash sales...

Exactly. There's no guarantee the OP would have ended up in a better position, and would've had to go through the stress of the court process as well. What will your verse be?
