Im being sued after I sold my car

I hope she has a plan if the Engine goes next week/ next month next year.
Or anything else for that matter, he has just had his car fixed for free by the previous owner.
There is every chance he will be back for more, why not, the threats worked last time.
As for facts, they are only "facts" when they are relevant, the OP was not or never charged by any court for anything, but thanks to a few idiots the fear of God was put in to her that she could be charged and punished by the court and now she is £350 light.
Pat yourself on the back for scaring the living daylights out of her.
The Time to deal with this was when he tried it on the first time, he can and may very well come back and do it again, it worked once.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

The OP brought up the criminal offence. Is it wrong to provide factual information on the basis that it might scare people?
Education never hurt anybody.What will your verse be?

I would like to see these idiots banned from the forum.
They have just cost you £350 you did not have to pay.
This would have been a civil court, two people and a judge in normal clothes sat at a table.
You had an absolute defence in Caveat Emptor.
You are now £350 out of pocket and you have let this man completely walk all over you and take money from you he was not due and had no legal chance of obtaining.
He may come back for even more now he knows you are an easy target that just wants things over and done.
The only person you have let down is yourself here.
You had him beat and beat good all you had to do was hold your nerve.
Absolutely spot on. Absolute fools on this place just cost the OP £350 with scare stories when there was absolutely no chance of losing this case. I'm seething and wish someone who runs this place had the b*lls to deal with them.

You appear to gain a lot of pleasure if I might say from scaring this woman to part with £350 of her money.
Thats your prerogative, not mine.
The Diatribe you posted about prosecutions, fines punishments were of no logical connection to her situation.
Shame, Shame on you.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Wow I thought Mark's view was silly enough that he'd be in a minority of one.
1) nobody forced the OP to do anything one way or the other;
2) it seems quite clear the OP doesn't want the stress of a court case, so no matter what anybody on here said it's likely they wouldnt have gone to court;
3) nobody said they would be charged with a criminal offence, only that it was possible (which is a FACT).
Blaming anyone in this thread for the outcome is ridiculous.What will your verse be?

You almost single handedly cost the OP £350. You must be so proud.Pants0 -
