The reason parcels are late is the sellers too over-run with dumb emails saying "as this been dispatched yet".

Buyer expectations are to receive a despatch email. If a sellers sale volumes are that high, not to have the time to do this, then they should invest in a software package/whatever to do so.

Which has long passed. So, I won an item that cost in excess of £100 on 6 December. Paid immediately. No contact from the seller. Delivery time set by Ebay passed. No contact from seller. Sent a very polite email asking the seller to confirm despatch and provide tracking details if they have any. No contact from seller. No despatch notification, no tracking details, no update on Ebay. Still not received the item.

Anyway, it's all moot as I've opened a case and will have to wait for resolution. So the seller's had my money all this time and hasn't even had the courtesy to communicate with me. I appreciate that sometimes things go wrong, parcels go missing, but this complete lack of communication is utterly unacceptable.
