Well done you! You are now not only a working mum but an inspiration too. Just make sure you sort out your medical problem so it doesn't hold you back any further.
Merry Christmas.0 -

Oh I don't think I'm an inspiration at all tbh.
As for my plantar fascitis I don't know how it's going to cope and how much standing I will have to do-I'm hoping I can walk around a fair bit while showing frames etc and that I'll get to sit down every half hour or so if I'm putting details on to the computer. I'm hoping the weight loss will be enough to have made it ok. I have found some shoes that don't cause me any pain so far(except they're the wrong colour for work as I bought them months ago) so I need to get the same ones in black(pity they're £62!)-I don't really want to be spending that much on shoes but I don't want to be wearing ones that will cause issues with my heels either. And isn't it typical that all other colours are £42 in that style but the black ones are not reduced as much grrrr.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Shoe dye is available at Timsons for leather or man made shoe materials.0 -
Would it work on shoes that are part suede and part leather? I think I'd be too worried about ruining them that way.
I've just looked at the site and I would have to buy 2 different packs, one for the suede parts and one for the leather parts. I don't think I'll be risking it tbh as the 2 different materials might come out different colours and I'll ruin a perfectly good pair of shoes.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

I have not read all of the thread, but I have picked up on that you seem to want to remain negative about lots of things. You are an inspiration, my daughters Mum has all the answers for not doing stuff, and believing in themselves.
Good luck with the post at the opticians and only leave there to climb the career ladder.0 -

Have you tried something like http://www.peopleperhour.com/ or gumtree?
Go self employed?
I know people who have done work for people on sites like that which have lead to permanent positions and as there isa knowledge of theperson, they have been more flexible.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
