Did have a thought, could they get another company to contact the DVLA? That would be illegal but they are doing that anyway by saying they are a BPA member.

I think you're watching too many American TV soaps! They will be relying on mugs who pay their tickets. They know they have no access to the DVLA, so will write off refuseniks as 'too difficult', 'impossible to trace'.

If you do get anything through the post from them, come back, but for now don't let that imagination run away with you.

And watch what you're watching! :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No they are not allowed, you don't even have the 'wait'! I hate to think what you would be like if you had got a fake PCN from a firm who could get your data and...write you a letter (OMG how scary...a letter!). Nothing can happen at all with a non-AOS member. This flyer on your windscreen has as much clout as a Burger King flyer and you wouldn't sit and worry that Burger King would somehow find out where you live, if you didn't buy something having been given their paper advert would you?!

Come on the only reason their paperwork & signs say they were a BPA member is probably because they are using up old paperwork (norty) and very likely are still a 'member of the BPA' (annual membership). They just are not an AOS member any more as they were booted out of that and CANNOT GET YOUR DATA.

TO MAKE THIS CRYSTAL CLEAR - THEY CANNOT GET YOUR DATA.

CAN I REPEAT, THEY CANNOT GET YOUR DATA!!!!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am very angry with myself as I hate anyone who knowingly parks in disabled spot

Don't beat yourself up about it, I did the same recently in Lidl. The marking was so faint as to be almost invisible. Deliberately so I suspect.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

No they didn"t get my data!!
