Look back through your bills, when was the last time a real reading was taken?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Ask a reliable friend who knows what they are doing to check for you,it looks like a simple reading of the meter mistake, I hope.0 -
i dont think it has been read for 2 years?? im absolutely terrified regarding amount i will owe , how can it be so wrong, the house is unoccupied during day so cant uderstand the high reading considering my neighbour has only used just under 200 units since feb n in al time with heating on for kids??0

What did it read 2 years ago and what have been paying a month.
On face value you have been underpaying and your supplier is now catching up.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
it read under 1000 now nearly 4000, heating only on 3 hrs a day max in winter only0

Take meter readings every week and see how they compare to what you have used over the past 2 years. But the meter is probably right, you'll have to work out a payment plan.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

no have paid the bills at the post office as they come through0

So 3000 units over 2 years would cost about £1800 , average £70 a month . A bit over average - dont forget hot water, baths, showers, cooking?
It's most important to read and give them online every month.
What about your electric readings ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
my electric is pre payment and has cost roughly 600 in last 3 years as i said im hardly ever in due to commitments.0
