If you don't mind me asking, where are you abroad? Do you get paid in £ or local currency and then convert?

In the USA, Lioness (great username btw!). I just do a flat rate conversion from dollars for posting on the site - keeps it simple.

Anyway, more payments made today. Now at £1783.37/£9139.48

Annoyingly though, my car needs some repairs done, so it's going to end up as a bit of a spendy week I think.

I once used the '£10 off your first online shop' voucher from Sainsburys, and it drove 40 miles to get to me. At the time, I lived in a flat that overlooked the goods entrance of a rather large Sainsburys! I felt the need to be explain myself to the delivery driver, and hoped my neighbours hadn't seen :rotfl:

Get well soon! I saved some money when I was ill last month by not leaving the house all weekend. Frugal but a bit miserable too...

    Paid off another £37.46.

I'd planned to wait a bit and pay a reasonable sized chunk off. But I've decided even £1 off the debt is worth celebrating. :)
