Thank you so much to everyone for being such an encouraging and challenging place. Sometimes I'd come on here and it would push me on to find another fiver!! Thanks pablosmummy for running the site!!
Devastatingly (although we knew it was coming) someone very precious passed away a few months ago. The silver lining in such a painful situation is that we have been fortunate enough to inherit some money that has cleared ALL of our debts, enabled us to change our car without needing finance, paid for some jobs around the house etc, plus covered the holiday we had in the summer.
So glad to finally have it all gone!! We can also start saving some of the money we were paying the debts with to help towards the last year of my course which goes from part time (where I work four days and study one day) to full time (where I will have to leave work).
I'm wishing you all the very best on your debt free journeys!! :rudolf: Glad to be at the end of mine, been in debt once before and it's amazing how easy it is to fall back into it...but not this time!! Debt gone once and for all...now it's time to start building up my emergency savings and tackling the mortgage!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
