Hello everyone. Not been on here before but after a quick read it's just what I needed. I've turned to debt busting rather than savings.
Can I Join up please.
I have £1139 to pay off asap on one of my loans and I also have a car loan which I would like to get down a fair bit.
Can I go for £3000. This would be a great target.
Thank you very much and I look forward to getting to know evryone.

Eurgh. Need to get the debt free mojo back. Now I'm not on maternity pay I keep thinking its fine and we have 'loads' of money (which in comparison I suppose we do!) to pay off debt etc. Then no extra gets paid off. Someone slap me, please.

Afternoon All
Well done on progress made. I've had a bit of a costly week - son's bed collapsed beyond repair so have ordered a new one and my other son's chair also gave way so one of them ordered too!! Anyway I have paid for all of it from my wages and will not pay a chunk off my 0% card instead so puts me a month behind and at risk of not clearing debt by Christmas, but needed doing - can't have them sitting and sleeping on floors.
Loan payment went out - 6 more to go:
#058: £5,200.17/ £10,400 (50%)
Good luck everyone for rest of MayBlitz that mortgage

Hi, not sure if this will help but I always figure out my budget before payday and whatever is left I pay off my debt on payday. Then there is no way that I get half way through the month and wonder why I haven't got any money left to go towards my debt.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Yes, definitely need to do this. I don't mean to make excuses, but I think the reason I haven't been doing that is because there seems to always be something that crops up each month that I've not thought of so like to have a pot of money just incase. But the reason I've not thought of it is because its probably not even needed! We also keep over-spending our food budget, I allocate £300 for 2 adults and 1 child, in April I'm mortified to say it was more £600. Ridiculous.- [STRIKE]Credit Card: £2,989 / £2,989[/STRIKE]
