Mine (possibly not in the correct order)

1st car was an Alfasud, lovely car to drive but liked to rust. It caught fire on the A6 as I was driving to work.

Cortina mk4 1.6 auto :eek: bought as a stop gap after the Alfa. Uninspiring/dull is the kindest I can say & it rotted at the sniff of rain.

Citroen Bx 1.9 Gti. Loved this car... fast, handled well, comfy. You either liked or hated it's little quirks.

MG Montego 2.0 turbo. A much, much better car than it was given credit for. Far better than the Sierras around at the time.

Rover 416 GTI. Honda engine/gearbox, what's not to like?

Daihatsu Fourtrack. Don't ask! It got nicked from a car park, I can't say I was sorry.

Isusu Trooper 3.1 turbo diesel auto. I quite liked this but when pulling an Ifor Williams trailer with 2 horses the fuel consumption was eye watering.

Volvo 240 GL estate. Tank!!! Probably still running now.

(Old) Mercedes 300se. Huge beast, surprisingly economical.

Peugeot 106 1.5 diesel. Bought this as I was commuting 40 miles ew to work. Uncomfy, noisy & cramped but amazing mpg & never broke down.
