Following on from the thread about which car we would have if money wasn't an issue, it's making me think about the cars i have owned over the years (yes i'm an oldie) and how much they are/would be worth now, ooh i know for certain i would be far better of if i had the monetary value of all the cars i have had in the past.
Just to start the ball rolling, here's just a few i wish i still had,
MK1 Lotus Cortina,
Mk11 Escort Mexico,
MK111 Capri 2.8S.

My first one was a Reliant 3 wheeler like in Fools & Horses.
I was 16, past my test on my second-hand Yamaha 80 and wanted to get a Daytona, i wanted to be a hells angel. But my Mum wouldn't sign the HP, she said i'd kill myself. Anyway uou could drive the Reliant on my motorbike licence, so it was decided getting that would be good practise for driving a car, Next year at 17 i past my car test and got a Moggy Minor.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

You needed a HP agreement to become a Hells Angel, bloody hell it's all about sales nowadays!0 -
Loads of bikes up to 1000cc, and some near misses, including dropping a bike on a beach in the middle of the night with a pillion passenger on board - but it ended well:D We left in the morning on the same bike;)
Loads of cars as well - four Alfas - all fast, four Beemers - three fast, one classic, one very fast, intermixed with Dolomites, MG's, Cortinas, Triumph Vitesse's.
One of the Beemers took me down the Mulsanne straight at around 160MPH - at night.0 -

When i past my test at 16 when was that ?
1953 plus 16. It must have been 1969
You needed an adult to sign to get finance for you then. But we had some good laughs in the 3 wheeler. And is was warmer than a bike in the winter. I'd still like a big bike though. Since i haven't been on one since i was 16, i probably would kill myself.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I'll give you £2.00 for it if the hydrospastic suspension is goosed and it looks "stanced" sitting on the floor in a puddle of its own fluids0
