I'd done a Sada C&C order for loads of Christmas goodies, treats and sweets using the UDI APGs, all for our local foodbank, and Sada cancelled the order just before I was about to collect it - the meanies:mad:.
I haven't found out why they cancelled the order yet.
(Text removed by MSE Forum Team)

Spent the last hour trying to find out what the problem was, have ended up emailing them (you should see the email, it's a doozy:)).
Basically, order cancelled at last minute, no reason given, and £40-odd of evouchers removed from my account.
In brief, phoned CS who told me that the order was cancelled by the store (despite the fact that the store phoned me to say Head Office had cancelled it) because the APGs had gone on to my account as evouchers, and they shouldn't have. Spoke to APG helpline who said that, no, that was correct and what should've happened. Phoned back CS who said that I needed to go to the store ..."So what's the point of online shopping if I have to go into the store?" was my question ... they didn't have an answer to that, and couldn't help me. So, I found the store number myself and phoned them - and of course no one is answering the phones. Finally, I've fired off an email.

    Now, think happy thoughts, Jelly
    :D
Did you manage to get a reply about this Jelly?

Sounds to me like some jobsworth didn't like you getting large apg's :(

with our post office if you don't get parcels there first thing on a Saturday morning they wont be collected by the van and they will just sit there in the PO until Monday - our Post Office closes at noon on Saturday.
With myhermes our local collection point is the Nisa shop about 10 mins up the road and I know parcels get collected there late on Saturday afternoon - usually between 2 and 4 o'clock - if I was running close to time I would just ring them to see if the van had been.
Even parcels without the extra paid for signed for I can track as it goes through the system

I've not given up on using the post office - eg for overseas parcels I've not had any problems and anything sent mid week or low value the PO is perfectly adequate servicce.
Its just the odd parcel or envelope that needs to go at weekends or to be insured or the customer wants to know exactly where the parcel is in the system.

I am testing another parcel today - dropped off at nisa at 12.30, collected by the van at 16.05, a bit later than normal. It was at the local depot at 17.10 - think its the one by Ikea?? - anyway overnight it will transfer to the receivers depot hopefully :T
    Ahh myhermes, dont use them
