I've been looking out for a trigger in the 2 for £2 cleaning and at first picked up the Dettol Neutra Air Energising Citrus Zest (300ml) which had 2 for £2 on the SEL, however it didn't scan through in the offer. I realise now I should have picked up 2 anyway then I could have claimed a £2 giftcard when the multi didn't come off :doh: I may go back later and pick them up.

Also I found my receipt for when xmas stuff scanned at 2p after last Christmas :j It was dated 2nd Jan so hopefully should be the same day again, I will try after midnight :cool: (It was ribbons and baubles)

I always ask for confirmation of what I've been told verbally. Either in an email or a letter. It makes disputes a lot clearer and shorter. I've had to do this last week with Ts direct over a stupid voucher code that won't work. They told me I could have a refund for the value off my next order instead, I know full well when the time comes I'll have to jump through hoops to get my refund so I asked for confirmation to be sent by email. Should make things easier.

Thanks FC - I usually do ask for stuff in writing but it didn't accur to me that there would be any dispute over this. she was very insistent about the gift card value and, foolishly, I assumed she was reading it out from a crib sheet. I will take it further - but it could well backfire when they realise that the accounts are switching to Y & C Bank on 5 Jan ! It shouldn't make a difference but they will likely be rather less inclined to see things my way when they find that out. We shall see - ut I shan't get too worked up if it doesn't go as I would like. I'll save that ire for when/if Y & C start playing silly buddies.

Oh and I forgot to mention that they had packs of Rocky Bars in Asda for 30p, not sure if it's store specific or national.
