Well my wine sneakery finally caught up with me today :o:o I had ordered some mystery red cases on the sly as I've said. A couple of them contained some £20+ bottles of fine wines :j:j but as I'm on a wine ordering ban I had to keep it to myself :o

So I walked into the kitchen today and saw one of them on the side....practically empty  cue me rushing to my iPad to look up and see which one it was....realised our Bubbs beef was in the oven being cooked in a £24 bottle of wine :o:o  :rotfl::rotfl:
OH had asked DD to get a bottle of anything French from the garage.
Glad I hadn't paid that for it or I'd have needed peeling from the ceiling :rotfl::rotfl: not that I'd pay that for red. As I only paid £3.33 a bottle ;) I let it slide......quietly.

Maybe you need to find a new hiding place for the expensive ones :rotfl:

She gave OH a book about Cod....the fish cod, not the abbreviation for a popular Xbox game. yes, someone wrote a book about Cod * shrugs shoulders* she gave DD false nails. Which was a bit naughty after DD asked about her nails and I said no because they aren't allowed at school  and she gave DS2 and Billy chocolate which went down well

Still giggling over my anti-wrinkle cream and am now thinking I may have displayed more claws than I realised :o  still funny though :D :rotfl::rotfl:

You might want to find out when her birthday is and re-gift it, with a note along the lines that you thought she have more need of it than you given her propensity for younger men ...

Again from HUKD, not very MSE, but a fantastic price. I wanted a set of these for ages, but cant justify it now,as have something else in place, but for good looking computer speakers, I dont think you can get better.

Snap and Fourp I'm sorry to hear about your news and I hope Fourp's mother has a speedy recovery x

BB fairplay to you, it's satisfying leaving a job that brings you misery!

My Christmas has been so so. To be honest I'm pretty glad it's all over now, just not looking forward to a 12 hour shift at Westfield tomorrow  glad I only have 4 more shifts there :D I did have some lovely Facetime chats with friends/family in the US and my brother today though. Also all the gifts I received were baking related so I finally applied for this :D

P.S. Emma I guessed all of your gifts bar one, (a rather disgusting One Direction annual - you know me so well :rotfl:) and particularly freaked out my mother when I picked up a book and shook it, then said 'it's a Great British Bake Off Book, it feels small enough to be the Christmas edition' and it was. :rotfl:

Wow well done I hope u get picked & crest some amazing creations
