  • Hope all the Elite had a lovely Christmas!

Been to the Boxing Day sales this morning Next was too busy to make any saving worthwhile. A had a poor showing. T on the other hand, a handheld scanner is your friend today! Loads of toys, tree decorations, gifts, electrical, wrapping paper was reduced but only around 20% of the labels had been adjusted to show such savings.

Catching up with the Amazon Boxing Day sale now to see what if anything I've missed!
  • Good afternoon hope everyone recovered from the festivities
    Congratulations abailey
    tweets hope you're feeling better

I can sense the first cracks appearing in my Quidco £50 challenge.

Works have delayed payment. Should have been payable Dec 24th. Tells me to contact Quidco support:o

Just as well I never thought I'd get the £50 anyway and now I don't feel too disappointed :rotfl:

A darn great crack has also appeared in my (and my DH's). m&S bank current account switch thing ! We both got our £125 gift cards for applying online and went into the store today to spend some - only to discover that both cards are only for £100. We are both decidedly wee wee'd off. need to get this sorted ASAP as the account transfers to Y & C bank early next month. I have a feeling other people have had the same problem - it's pretty poor service from M &S.

Thanks Llovelies - haven't time or energy to catch up - but I wish everyone the bestest ♥

Trying to cope here with my demanding parents :o Father decided to strip the turkey - in the sitting room & I'm still finding bits of turkey stuck to nice furnishings, presents etc :rotfl::rotfl:

I've given them a jigsaw now that is very very very difficult & now can get on & get stuff done :T

Sister's Birthday today & I was having the party here, but because of Fourp we have moved it to her house so I'm lugging all the food up the hill to her house :)
She has only just risen & her teenage children who are still in bed & meant to be making her a gluten free birthday cake
    Party starts at 4pm....

Fourp's Mum - hospital now not doing anything until Monday :(

Also got a turkey crown down from £40 to £9.99 in S - same price as I paid for my frozen one last week  but 75% off and I can kid myself at Easter how much nicer it tastes due to the original S price :). They also had 3 bird roasts £15 down from £60 and Turkeys £12.50 down from £50 so obviously held their nerve to wrk g out as much as they could on Christmas Eve. Got lots of meat 50% off or less in A too so freezer now replenished - not as good as some of you have achieved but a good saving on what we normally buy without the bunfight at reductions time ;).

Worth popping in to supermarkets if passing as they will likely all now have stock to clear due to one day being shut.
