    ♥ Thanks Llovelies.

I'm back from a 100 miles round trip to Cardiff - dropped Fourp off.

His Mum has had a bleed on the brain, not a stroke as first thought.

She has been moved to the The Heath & has had scans, awaiting op.

Fingers crossed as it is touch & go

Luckily his brother was there when she collapsed & called an ambulance

I feel guilty as Fourp came back here for Christmas - he spent this morning cooking the complete dinner, wouldn't let us help, he only just sat down when the phone call came :(:(

Got to think of the positives & four up got to see her, prayers are been said for your mil, hope u are ok x

    Morning all!
Haven'T fully caught up so apologies if I miss anything important but...
congratulations abailey54, hoping you're ok and enjoying time with baby.

Bananababe, hope you're alright. Sounds like you made a good choice though as it was sounding all a bit stressy and unnecessary. At least you should be able to concentrate on college now.

Snap-ant, thoughts and prayers with you and fourp.

VT, sorry it was a difficult one. I think sometimes it's hard not to give in to the pressure of making it all lovely and important and sounds like sil was overwhelmed. Going away sounds like a great idea. Where do you want to go?

This year for us was the easiest yet. We had it at ours and had a few of the family over. So much easier to let girls go to nap in their own beds and not have to run around to other people's houses straight after church! And my bil, who's a non-drinking alcoholic, was calm and sociable for the first time in the 10 years I've known him so that made it better too. He normally causes huge arguments!

Hope you all have a good day. No sales for me. Ordered a couple bits online but tbh, nothing at acceptable prices now. (Elite, you've ruined me. :D) Dh, doing boxing day dip, so will spend rest of the day bringing him hot water bottles to defrost him!

    Thanks LBB

Funny said same earlier half price not cheap enough for something not really needing xx

A darn great crack has also appeared in my (and my DH's). m&S bank current account switch thing ! We both got our £125 gift cards for applying online and went into the store today to spend some - only to discover that both cards are only for £100. We are both decidedly wee wee'd off. need to get this sorted ASAP as the account transfers to Y & C bank early next month. I have a feeling other people have had the same problem - it's pretty poor service from M &S.

Had same long story lodged official complaint I'll let you know when I hear. I have already transferred out and account closed x
