My little boy is home....christmas can begin!!!

ds2 has finally been let out after his stay in hospital...18 days in total...one of which was his 13th birthday.
Hes's still very weak, but its lovely for him to be home and we are all rather delighted.

I'm very happy for you and your family LEJC, and this will be a special Christmas for you all. This time last year I was treasuring having my DH back home after he spent some time in the ICU of a foreign hospital. It always reminds you of what's really important - and it really isn't getting an A in sprouts! :rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.

Oh deary me I have had a terrible afternoon. The trainee I have had to look after the last two weeks. Turned on me. And I had to ask him to go home as I couldn't continue working with him.

My boss needed this like a hole in head. He questioned our practices and said I was rude abrupt and immature.

I kinda flipped and told him. He should question himself being racist sexist ageist. Disrespectful and arrogant.

I was shaking with frustration. Meanwhile trying to sort out the mess he had made on booking system and continue to answer phones and deal with customers.

My boss was at a funeral planners with her poor sister so not sure whats happening going forward.

    Livid was not the word

    Have another hug from me.

:eek: Do you have a barcode? Not that I'd advise to risk it but it could be that the £3.99/kg beef wasn't available in M last Wednesday - I didn't have it - and they reverted to the Topside £9.99/kg one - now, with the £3.99/kg beef back, maybe they'll pick that up again instead on the new price collection (when it's in the system tomorrow or Wednesday) - but, thanks for this information, following it it might make bubb's beef very risky. I bet we'll now find out the new situation late on a womble late on Wednesday night and have no time at all to buy it if it's going vs M at £3.99/kg once more.

the b/c on my receipt is BEEF JOINT 021771800804

Sorry you've have a crappy day BB. Sounds like you're better off rid of that trainee though.

Evening all. I got back from my weekend in Derby late last night. I am utterly shattered today but lucky enough to be able to rest and relax :)

Tomorrow is my next shift at the Crisis warehouse- pleased to say I've also managed to raise almost £100 for them. Enough to reserve space for four homeless people at Crisis Christmas. They get hot showers, haircuts, a new set of clothes, hot meals and entertainment. They also get given packs with various toiletries in and so on. I understand it's going to be very cold on Christmas Day and Boxing Day so good there are so many warm places for them to be.

Merry Christmas to anyone in need of a hug and some festive cheer x

Well that's one of my depressing Christmas tasks out of the way.....Holly wreaths all laid at the cemetery and crematorium.
Did I miss anymore bespoke vouchers?

I have got to do my sisters on christmas eve, I do love going though, and having a chat to her, miss her so much. :A

No barcode savvy, just the numbers on womble.... 021771300908 and 021771701055....
They infact got 2 bits but was combined as one on the price compare.
