Ok I found it :j
I wonder what else to get to make up the £5.50 - something else with a bonus points offer ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. This sounds really interesting - how did you start doing Crisis warehouse?
Did you have any special skills - I know the London one recruits doctors, dentists etc
Hey mhoc. You register as a volunteer and then see what vacancies they have available. I think I registered in October or November and specifically chose the warehouse because I'd not done it before and liked the idea of doing something physical. It's also quite cool because you get to see the scale of the operation as everything is sent out from this one place.
They do often ask for people with special skills but I don't drive and I'm not a chef etc so I'm just one of the grunts
On Thursday a man showed up with a whole car load of stuff, just before we were due to leave for the day. He had SO much. I asked him where it had all come from and he said he'd been collecting food and clothing from people over the last few months. We took it all in for him and off he popped. It was bloody heartwarming to see. Just some random bloke with a car load of donations :jDebt free 6th December 2014

Yule Log in TCB finishes today.
Anon
I uploaded my receipt from the 18th at the weekend, the site was down and they didn't want to accept email photos
Still waiting for Yule log and Terry's eggs to go to paid
Meanwhile I bought 12 bottles of Bardot water in sets of 2 for my W and OHs Q clicksnappy and the Quality street, uploaded on Saturday, paid out today £11 each :j“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Just found out online that Tesco phone shop doesn't open til 9am so no way am I walking around store for 2 hours shopping . I ring mum and she snaps at me when I tell her and says she will cancel all her mobile phones (she only 2) so no one can get in touch with her. If that's what she wants to do so be it. Sounds good, no shame in being a grunt - I am not driving either and no skills either - my main prob could be that I don't live near a city - I will do some reading up.
Around here I suppose I could help with the RSPCA cattery and the Methodist Christmas dinner - I suppose it all helps though :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
