There seems to be a glitch (not of that kind:() as I've been having problems getting to this site - first the server seems to be down (anyone else having problems?), then it wanted me to upgrade my browser, so I did - now got this new system that's worse than the old one (as usual:() and I'd like to go back to the old look but probably, having got me to update, now stuck with this one - all it's doing is giving some stupid down-drop when I now do searches - not happy:(:( but never mind! Anyway, even after I've downloaded the latest browser, it still wants me to download the latest browser:mad: - MSE then seemed to have set to a screen where I couldn't post smilies so, just to let you know, if my posts come out odd (not that I'm not odd ordinarily:rotfl:), that's the reason why! It seems to be on and off and this website - it doesn't affect other websites - having server issues.

Sorry you've have a crappy day BB. Sounds like you're better off rid of that trainee though.
Evening all. I got back from my weekend in Derby late last night. I am utterly shattered today but lucky enough to be able to rest and relax
Tomorrow is my next shift at the Crisis warehouse- pleased to say I've also managed to raise almost £100 for them. Enough to reserve space for four homeless people at Crisis Christmas. They get hot showers, haircuts, a new set of clothes, hot meals and entertainment. They also get given packs with various toiletries in and so on. I understand it's going to be very cold on Christmas Day and Boxing Day so good there are so many warm places for them to be.
Merry Christmas to anyone in need of a hug and some festive cheer x
This sounds really interesting - how did you start doing Crisis warehouse?
Did you have any special skills - I know the London one recruits doctors, dentists etc“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Yes this is true:D but not got really light today, strange day:cool:

Evening all
Managed to get most of the shopping done this evening. Was quite busy, but I put my earphones in and meandered the aisles not paying attention to anyone or anything! Just a couple of last minute bits to get tomorrow. Oh, and a turkey :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

RIP to all those lost in Glasgow.
Thoughts are with all involved, and their Families and Friends.
Still have a little over an hour to check my shops for the trigger I have tried.... Did pick up a wimble, just wanted to make you aware of not buying a particular beef in a shop against M's
4.95 x ASDA Butcher's Selection British Easy Carve Beef b... £19.63 £49.45
:eek::eek::eek:
Came out n/a against other shops.
:eek::eek: Do you have a barcode? Not that I'd advise to risk it but it could be that the £3.99/kg beef wasn't available in M last Wednesday - I didn't have it - and they reverted to the Topside £9.99/kg one - now, with the £3.99/kg beef back, maybe they'll pick that up again instead on the new price collection (when it's in the system tomorrow or Wednesday) - but, thanks for this information, following it it might make bubb's beef very risky. I bet we'll now find out the new situation late on a womble late on Wednesday night and have no time at all to buy it if it's going vs M at £3.99/kg once more.0 -
