  • I see chocs may be OK - re IamMoss. I was just going to say I bought at nearly 6 last night and it was fine but who knows with this update. They definitely aren't oos in my As!

Hornetgirl - (I think it was you, sorry if not)
About desserts - a friend of mine makes a trifle type dessert but it's really yummy. Ginger cake broken into bits, tin of custard poured on, whipped cream (not squirty) on top and then chocolate shavings. hth.

Just wanted to nip on to thank hampydoodums and the person who put up the link for the staples chocolate deal

Popped into Staples and picked up quite a few chocs , I know they aren't 1p but my kids have been asking for popping candy freddo's and the mini maltesers which were also 3 for 2 also Xmas decs and wrapping 10p cracker making kit for 10p each
Loom bands were also 10p each
Lots of packs of Christmas cards 10p
Many shelves empty though apparently sale has been on a few days
Staff had already bagged the big tubes of chocs for themselves but I'm very pleased with what I got
    Thanks again

They had these in my local co-op the other day, 4 for 50p

I thought I'd have a look at the denby everyone's been ordering.
Can't fathom out which one it is or how you lot get the codes to work.
Looks like I'll have to stick to my cheap mis matching plates when we eventually move :rotfl:

Edit: oops, helps if I use the right code!

Sundaes are easy - Tall sundae glasses or similar, fruit coulis/sauce in bottom of glass, either broken up meringue or broken chocolate brownies, few raspberries use a few straight from freezer, by the time its served they will be thawed out (hopefully) ice cream, more coulis, just fill the glass put squirty cream on top topped with a raspberry. hth:D

Good idea - Ive got some jelly so I can start sundaes off with fruit and jelly at the bottom, Ive got canned custard, meringues and vanilla ice cream :j

Raspberries in the freezer from Morrisons - Squirty cream going onto the list.

I have a signature trifle that I do but I wont be making it for Christmas - its eldest sons fav and he is not due back until the end of the month ...

    Good morning all,
Is it just my computer, or Quidco Snap is not working? I have tried mobile and PC, but no luck...

Could someone please point me in the direction of the barcode generator that was posted a while ago. I have searched but it was in an old thread and I can't find it. It's a real pain having to go to store to scan barcodes for wombles on s'tize.

    Thank you in advance :)
