Thank you, I've got mine for Monday at 5pm.

My dd1 is almost 9 and already has size 2 feet. Whichever is where in most shops, the junior sizes stop and then you have to pay for expensive adult shoes! So I need sale price shoes her :D I've got my eye on a nice converse hoody for her too.
My DD1 is 11, and she wears size 7 (adult one! :) i always buy from specialized shoe shop, otherwise, they don't keep long

Sorry. Didn't realise this is an offer scotland only

    "Cashback Offer

£5 cashback when the customer spends a minimum of £10 on shopping (including a 350g or 500g promotional pack of Galloway Cheddar) in any store in Scotland (excluding alcohol, fuel, household goods and toiletries). Customer must upload image of receipt to https://www.gallowaycheddar.co.uk and enter details to receive £5 cashback via post which will be paid within 28 days. Please note that over the Christmas period, we cannot guarantee delivery within 28 days.

Maximum of 3 entries per household,
maximum of £5 cashback per entry."

The 500g is £3 in Mr A. So whenever you are doing a £7+ grocery shop in A you should think about adding a promotional pack of this (unless it conpares poorly against your target shop)

    Morning all.

Hope all the preparations are going well. Can any of the elite cooks suggest a simple dessert recipe for me please? It needs to serve 5, look reasonably impressive, not be too chocolatey and above all be easy to make. On the equivalent occasion last year I made TM's Toblerone cheesecake, so that's out for this year but is exactly the right degree of simplicity for my abilities :D

Very disappointed in my cat. Being a bit of a climber, I had visions of her scaling the Christmas tree on a regular basis and very possibly having it wrecked by now. She gave it barely a glance when we brought it in, has made one half hearted swipe at a bauble and has otherwise totally ignored it.

Ditto here, Ive written a list of everything we need for Christmas dinner but I need a desert to sit in the fridge just incase people fancy something sweet.
I have Christmas puds but one child wont eat dried fruit so I need an alternative.

No I don't have any philli and I don't have any cheese MOCs :(

My cats are also miserable. At the bottom of the tree I have various bells but not one cat has taken any notice of them - cats with no fun in them.

Treacle though has now learned how to barge his way into the boys bedroom through a shut door so I've hung a shirt on the handle to try and fool him. This is the revamped bedroom it took us months to re-decorate and I've kept it a cat free zone until now :(.

What about pavlova meringue base whipped cream on top and decorated with either Choc sweets or fruit you could make individual ones or in big one

Hello, Banoffee pie. Biscuit base (crushed biscuits mixed with melted butter) topped with a half tin of caramel, (more if you want, but I freeze other half) lots of sliced bananas, big layer of whipped cream (to completely cover the banana and stop it going brown) and as much chocolate as you wish grated over the top. Best on day 1, but still very edible next day too. Keep in fridge.
I am not young enough to know everything.

Banoffe pie is easy. Smashed digestives and melted butter as a base. Tin of the condensed milk toffee (saves you having to boil it), banans, whipped cream, then crumble a flake over the top.
