Perhaps those are the most efficient speeds for attaining the highest MPG :rotfl:
They don't annoy me as much as they used to - I tend to keep back or 'ninja' when possible:D
To save another of the 10,000 posts... has anyone noticed the smaller 1.75L cokes appear to have a lot more air gap than the 2L ones
I wonder what the bottle capacity of the 1.75L and 2L bottles really are  not that it really matters :rotfl:
It's no excuse:mad::mad:! I'm sorry to pedantic but it is speeding!
I in fact find it very irksome to have to comply with a 20 temporary restriction (for loose chippings, if the signs are present when there are no such chippings there, that, yet again, is the fault of the normal person - for it is extremely likely to be one - that is the employee of the highways department) or even a 30 restriction. It still doesn't excuse normal people's behaviour of failing to comply with legal signage and tailgating. It's not a one-off, it is everytime anyone is driving behind me - it's normal people, totally incapable of driving within the 30 signs.
Is there some unwritten rule under which speed limit signs only apply if there are speed cameras? I live in petrification that, even if they aren't any, I run the risk of caught over the limit if I drive above it. I therefore find it irksome and in having this imposition of the 30 imposed on me, and me having to comply with it whilst no-one else has to. Most ordinary people don't realise the harshness and imposition that their world imposes on autistic people. Even when there are speed camera signs, some of them even drive faster.
I'm all right, you're all wrong and I'm leaving and loving you folks!
Thanks, goodnight!:A
(Except that you're not - you're a bloomin' nuisance, but I have to be polite and say that you are and pretend:mad::mad::rotfl:. Just understand - nothing personal alright;):T:wave:.)0 -
It's the most wonderful time of the year....my Waities store had loads of 3 for 2 whoopsied party food tonight :j :money:
I had to go to Ts Express tonight. I'm a bad mother who ran out of wildlife choobs(again) I got 2 for £7/ £3 for £10 meats as well as the £3 stir fry meal deal reduced and the Mbuy discounts came off :j:T a nice unexpected bonus for me as I've not had much time for anything glitchy lately

Can I ask please, is there any multibuy on the Quorn Sausage rolls?
No multi-buy at Sada. I was doing an AvT shop and they're 3-for-£4.50 at Mr.T

at my sada I did follow a link to the parking ticket forum but got no
joy from there as it said not to ask questions just to report facts. So I
Am beginning to think just pay it with the threat of court and bailiffs .
Please let me know how you get on at your A's
I'd rather burn the money than pay those crooks. What's the script ?0 -

What annoys me is, say you're on a 40mph road - clearly posted limit, nobody exceeding 40mph... but wait, there is a bright yellow speed camera, let's all slow down to 30mph, just in case theres a glitch in the cameras speed sensor :T  :rotfl:#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
fairclaire wrote: »What you mean is that the thought that other people were different didn't cross your mind until someone told you it was you that is different?
Thats completely understandable.
I sometimes question what is 'different' myself. It's good to look at how different people behave. [2] Just don't try too hard to understand it
Im with you on having intimidating drivers behind you thoughI'm a cautious driver myself. I had a longish journey on the Mway on Sunday in the most horrendous weather. The spray was awful  [1] I had 3 people on that journey driving menacingly up my rear and one even flashed their lights at me (presumably because I was driving too slow) but I kept to the inside lane! I find it akin to bullying and I think people's personalities totally change when they get in a car
I might add I probably never got below 60MPH....the whole world is in too much of a hurry
My rant over - and perhaps I feel better now (or maybe not:rotfl:).
[1] Not just me that has the problems with other drivers then. I don't drive "too slow", I am driving there as fast as I can within the limit - yes, it feels slow to me too - but I'm being quite reasonable (good word again:rotfl:).
[2] Ah, thank you for that! What a cop-out though:rotfl:. I don't see why I shouldn't try to understand it - it's my yearning for - there's got to be some reason - in the absence of any other explanation, I'm starting to conclude that non-autistic people are incapable of driving within the speed limit and that's actually a pathological problem with them. Sorry to appear to put up a "them and us" barrier line - remember the impression that you get of me is undoubtedly wrong - Asperger's people often giving the wrong impression and often being misunderstood - but it does really annoy me!
There is a ring of truth, I think, in personalities changing behind the wheel - the inside of a car offers an area of seeming safety and security that I think takes over the emotions of most people:mad::( and causes them to forget. They also don't notice details like a small minority of the population that includes myself do - such as speed limit signs:mad::mad::rotfl:. Add to that the presence of any other person in the car and most people's attachment to the social environment caused by faces having a subconcious drawing on the brain of the normal person, that diverts their attention away from the road and onto the other occupants of the car. I also leave people in their cars staying stationary at traffic lights, as soon as that light has changed to green (assuming I'm first in the queue behind the light), I'm off and gone - and leave others standing! Again, slow reaction time of most people. If I'm not the first in the line, I'm just waiting ages for them to realise the lights have changed:mad::mad::mad::mad:.
