Thanks so much to the OP of the chocolate glitch. Went on the prowl for them to be told by super helpful SA that someone had been in earlier and bought loads in sets of 3 along with other items. Hmmmm! Couldn't find a single Xmas Thorntons one and there were none in the warehouse. Well done to whoever it was that cleaned out. :T:T
Santa Mimi handed out presents to colleagues today. I even made 2 of them cry as they were so chuffed. They've never had presents off colleagues before!!! Got loads of hugs in return. It was so nice to see a smile on their faces as most always have a frown.
Hope you all have had a great day. Enjoy your evening and keep warm. :A:A0 -

Gave my friend a couple of moc's to use and she had no problem;)
I hope you took the mocs out and used them too0 -
HUKD is a strange place :rotfl:

Terrys chocolate orange for (effectively) FREE = 523 degrees
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/terrys-milk-chocolate-orange-1-asda-free-after-cashback-from-checkoutsmart-topcashback-2087415That's muggles for ya! - I do find it interesting though, it shows how the 'round pound' deals effect value judgement even on the partially enlightened hukd, and perceived work/hassle from cos/cs is 'too complicated' and not worth it for free stuff :rotfl:
Reminds me, I mentioned to a friend something along the lines of "oh just pop all your shopping that's about the same price or cheaper at tesco in the same basket"... "oh that's far too complicated" :rotfl:
Yes I could say the whole world's a strange place. I don't think it's necessarily round pound - it's just general, with the vast majority of "ordinary people". They don't seem to be able to understand anything beyond the simplest thing:(. It's true though - and, if you're trying to explain something, you're forever waiting for other people to catch up! It doesn't click. Generally slow brain.
I can't understand how other people tick. For me, it's not that the world has always been a strange place as such, but more so in the last few years, post my Asperger's diagnosis (of something that I very briefly felt 23 years ago that I might have - again, just way in advance of almost everyone...), anyway, only in the last few years, after my diagnosis, have I started thinking more about how other people work and, once you start doing so, only then does the strangeness of them all strike you.
My own bugbear is this one. Ordinary people that persist in wishing to drive at 40 mph in a 30 mph temporary speed limit zone (with repeated 30 signage), whilst I'm doing straight 30 - I'm sure it's annoying, but I can't help it - they seem just oblivious of road signs whilst I see every one of them - and it's very intimidating to have them driving so closely behind me - adhering to the speed limits is actually very dangerous when no-one else at all is doing so (without fail, every time on that road, they are right behind me:() and, then, when the temporary limit ends and it's national speed limit sign - this is 'ordinary car' drivers we are talking about and clear road in front of them - they'll still doing 40:(:(:( and now I've soon caught up with them:mad::mad:. So irritating!
If you want normal people to drive slower, you need to put the speed limit up! Why do they do that? Why do they drive at 40 in a 30 and then 36 in a 60 zone? I really cannot understand why most people's brains appear to operate in this way. I feel it's normal people that are wrong and have the "defective brain", and that mine is perfectly right:rotfl:. It's not as if they got the speed limit right or drove at any reasonable pace within it for the conditions of the road at the time on either of the speed limits, instead they do it completely wrong on both situations! A worse position. Double wrong is double wrong and not any right! There we - rant over: everyone else is totally wrong and I'm completely right:rotfl:.
Here's a slightly more extreme example than me - I notice someone (this isn't me btw) - the post on 21 April 2013 at 8.41am:
http://asperclick.com/topic/482-driving-and-aspergers/
This bit at the end, again bizarre normal people:
"I was even pulled up once driving within the posted 30mph speed limit and the reason? They couldn't understand why I was going so slow especially when...I slowed down for a roundabout!?! Amazing isn't it..."
Apparently, I learn from other places on the Internet (dangerous trying to take any notice of anything on there:rotfl:), that if you drive at the speed limit, you immediately open yourself to suspicion by police officers as they think you are hiding something:huh::rotfl:!
Shouldn't you be doing the speed limit (if safe to do so) and shouldn't you be slowing down for roundabouts?:huh: I thought it's what you should do! Everyone ought to be driving this way*. Clearly, however, I have something wrong...
(*I'm aware that people don't do this and, as a safe and competent driver, I expect that they might not do so and therefore allow for this in the way I drive - e.g. no harsh braking immediately before speed limit signs downwards, but check my mirror and gradually do so - they ought to be expecting me to slow down for the change in limit anyway - I suspect they aren't: faulty, faulty, faulty - the fault with normal people - again! Then they proceed to tailgate me:(:( - and to cause intimidation - I've even wanted to pull over if I am able to do so and allow them to pass, as they clearly are entirely incapable of driving within the law and wish to drive outside it - that's the problem with ordinary people again.)
Goodnight all!:D:rotfl::):wave:0 -

Evening all.
Hit T with matty17r at just the right time for whoopsies. Loads of meat, cost £27, but a nice £18 dtd on some turkey steaks. Worked out that I got £129 of meat for £9:j
Got some chocs in A. Needed a Ferrero star for a prezzie, so got one with two of the £7 Thorntons. DID NOT COMPARE for anyone thinking of getting it.
Hope you're all well.
Moomin, so sorry I missed your birthday, happy belated. x
Off to bed now, as work again tomorrow:(
Night all.

What you mean is that the thought that other people were different didn't cross your mind until someone told you it was you that is different?Thats completely understandable.
I sometimes question what is 'different' myself. It's good to look at how different people behave. Just don't try too hard to understand it
Im with you on having intimidating drivers behind you thoughI'm a cautious driver myself. I had a longish journey on the Mway on Sunday in the most horrendous weather. The spray was awful  I had 3 people on that journey driving menacingly up my rear and one even flashed their lights at me (presumably because I was driving too slow) but I kept to the inside lane! I find it akin to bullying and I think people's personalities totally change when they get in a car
I might add I probably never got below 60MPH....the whole world is in too much of a hurry :cool:0 -

Perhaps those are the most efficient speeds for attaining the highest MPG :rotfl:
They don't annoy me as much as they used to - I tend to keep back or 'ninja' when possible
To save another of the 10,000 posts... has anyone noticed the smaller 1.75L cokes appear to have a lot more air gap than the 2L ones
I wonder what the bottle capacity of the 1.75L and 2L bottles really are  not that it really matters :rotfl:#CHEEKY :cool:0
