MY bugbear is those using mobile phones whilst driving :mad::mad: I BEEP loudly at every one of them I see, much to the embarrassment of whatever kids I have in the car at the time. How can you turn a corner with one hand because your other hand is holding your phone??

I had a small bump with a woman who was on a mobile when she bumped me a few years back. Such was her attention to detail and her haughtiness that it wasn't her fault......she got said mobile out and started photographing the opposite side of the car to which she had bumped into.

........I just stood there looking smug and let her take her pics THEN pointed out to her she might like to photograph the side of the car she actually bumped into A very silly Moo

"We're not going to dwell on the picture." Well, you are dwelling on it by referring to not doing so and, therefore, drawing more attention to it! I have the feeling that - don't take this the wrong way - I might be more distressed about being warned (and so often - several warnings now) about me possibly being distressed when I wouldn't be. (I get more upset about being "nanny-stated" sometimes. But, maybe the warnings are justified.)

Maybe it's the effect of the pictures that has a greater emotional effect on the normal person - and that I'm not getting that message in my brain. I don't mean to suggest I'm unemotional or unaffected - it's just that, sadly, a picture or still (in this context, uh um) actually doesn't have such an effect on me as distinct from the awful events of actual real life. I imagine that would be true of most people - but perhaps it's not. Perhaps there is some communication in the television that isn't reaching me, and they are having a reasonable, responsible and informed discussion, which is of course the point and not this stupid post. It's sad that we've seen a lot of these sorts of things too often before.
