Before I send of my appeal, just want to make sure I have a case!
The PCN says we were allowed 3 hrs free parking, but we shopped at every store on the retail park doing Xmas shopping! We were over this so called free parking time by over 30minutes. I'm fuming these stores take our money then allow this to happen to their customers!0 -
Yes you have a case!!
Do as the regulars on here advise, Parking Eye now seem to be cancelling their unenforceable invoices when the see a forum based challenge. This saves you having to write a POPLA appeal and saves them £27 + VAT!!
As well as doing this you have the option to complain very loudly to the various retaillers who seem to be happy for genuine customers shopping time to be restricted during this busy shopping period. Quite an unbelievable business model really.0 -
You are taking this much too seriously. If this is a free car park they have lost nothing and that is precisely what they are entitled too.
It's a game, play it and you will cost them money,You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
clearly you have not read the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum
please do so asap
I am new to MSE forums and this is my first entry. I am so confused about posting a new topic. What's confusing me more is this 'sticky thread'? I've no idea where to find it, and judging by replies on here I should be reading that before I do anything else??
I'm so sorry if I'm confusing anyone but I'm finding these forums a bit tricky.0 -

We don't normally post links to the NEWBIES sticky, as this doesn't help you to learn how to search the forum. But as you seem to already have done a fair bit of reading so far, and good that you're doing that - here you go. My good deed for this evening!

Hi all.
I have appealed both our PCN's towards the end of last week with the template above.
Should there be anything else I need to be doing whilst awaiting PE's response?
Kind regards!0 -

PE have, of late, cancelled at initial appeal stage (forum-based ones), but with two on the go they may take a chance on POPLA. However where a further forum-based appeal to POPLA is delivered, they have been giving up at that stage now for many months.
Suggest you start having a look at the NEWBIES FAQ sticky (you know where that is now!) post #3, getting your head around POPLA procedures.
PE have 35 days to deliver their decisions on your initial appeals. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
