  • Hi Coupon-mad,

Think we're now ok with what we have assembled for 1-5: GPEOL / Contract / Keeper liability / Signage / Grace.

Just working through 6 ANPR and 7 Unfair Charge sections.

Re. ANPR, the examples I have found are #4895330 "3 mins. early arrival", and #5135670 "Equipment sync". Any thoughts as to how we could assemble this section. The only point that we can think of is the topic that there were three vehicles in the party and only two received a notice. Given their use needs to be consistent could we use this to suggest ANPR failing?

    Thank you.

Yes you could mention that, and use/adapt the wording here under '5. ANPR records are unreliable and not proof of one parking event':

I like that sort of version as it quotes the BPA saying ANPR is fallible! :)

No, in a POPLA appeal the PPC has to send you and POPLA all their evidence anyway, so keep your eyes peeled for the evidence in January, once you have submitted this to POPLA (you are at POPLA stage already aren't you?). We recommend rebutting the 'evidence' to get the last word, in a simple final email to POPLA pointing out the failings in bullet points, just before they make their decision in the end.

  • Cheers Coupon-mad, and yes we are in the midst of your assistance in preparing the POPLA appeal. You asked to see it once complete, ok to post on here once so?

That's how we got the bloomin' tickets ... took them to Blackpool for the w/e to experience the Pleasure Beach and lights as they'd not been before.

Really admire your capacity to do this. A phenomenal contribution to mankind.

In rather stark contrast to CEL's effort!

Umkomaas: I will take the word "your" in the plural sense, well ... 10% me and 90% the missus anyhow!! It is a huge commitment but it is a very humbling and rewarding one too.

Coupon-mad: On a more serious note my friend's who together with our own was the 2 out of the 3 vehicles in the party to get a PCN from CEL at the Pizza Hut.

However whereas our POPLA code expires on the 7th Jan, her's does so on the 29th Dec. so she hasn't long at all. I am trying to convince her to appeal to POPLA and not pay it.

Obviously same as ours but she has I believe, pretty much said that she was the driver in her appeal letter to CEL. However even with that, from what I understand of your advice so far it should win easily just on the GPEOL point alone?

So I was trying to get ours sorted asap so that she could use the same / very similar one for her appeal. Or would you suggest that she uses the hoohoo's short version on #65410407.

Has she got to the 29th incl. to submit?

    Thank you.
