A strip club probably has CCTV. They won't give you access but they might the police.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Have you rang the club? I'd be wanting to speak to the manager first.0

nope, they all have different Pins. I only use two of the cards in my day to day so the third card could easily have been attempted but did actually fail due to an incorrect pin as I don't remember it. However, that card company said there were no attempted transactions or anything since October which would make sense.
Stupidly, I told the credit card company that was charged that I lost my card therefore it was a fake transaction (as I never came home with it). First thing in the morning this made more sense that trying to piece together a story of admitting being in there which is still only unfolding now as I keep getting horrid flashbacks. Im sure this might come back to haunt me if the police get involved now ive admitted to being in there0 -
I thought that too but apparently not. I bought a mcdonalds breakfast earlier today on my one remaining uncancelled card and when I thought I should double check if there were any pending transactions on that one too Halifax told me there was nothing - not even the mcdonalds. So it would seem that transactions can go missing completely too!0

no answer on Saturday and not open until tomorrow. I doubt they'll be much help though and without going down there in person to point out the barman (which im not keen to do given the size of the bouncers) its all going to be a very vague drunken story as you've all heard already0 -

nope, I only have chip and pin cards as I don't trust those things ironically0 -
I'd be looking to speak to the club and the manager. Both you and your friend witnessed the bartender having problems with the card reader/till. You've got several failed receipts and a receipt for £1800.
Presumably the till has a bill of drinks for £1800 to match up to the bill. And you;ve got a timestamp for when the transaction was made.
Ask the bar owner to confirm there;s £1800 drink order. If not then theres mistake.0 -

Did you pay contactless in McDonald's? Ive noticed before when i pay contactless in McDonald's it never appears on my pending transactions and just comes off the card the next day.0 -
