In theory, if they have facial recognition footage of you, this may be shared Nationwide and flag an alert when your out and about in any UK City, you may get a tap on your shoulder from Big Brother and end up with a criminal record.

Recognition cameras - all done by electronic means - your spotted and the police are alerted. Helps fund the cameras :) just like speed cameras.

Bit strong for 1 piece of chewing gum!! I am gonna cut my hair and grow a beard!! Find me then CCTV!

I hope the Police don't read our Forum:idea: - they could invoke the UK terrorism law, it's so broad it has begun to 'catch those it never intended to' Catching journalists, bloggers - the counter-terrorism watchdog has said.
  • The OP probably thought that putting chewing gum down a drain did not count as littering - the council can't say they will have to spend money clearing it up, can they?

Some utility company will have to, so in the end we will all pay for the OP's fine.

This assumes that every single person on this forum all use the same utility company that will ultimately be responsible for removing this small piece of chewing gum.

Ok, to be more specfic, whoever uses Thames Water will end up paying because the OP threw litter down the sewer.

:search:Be afraid. They will send police divers into the sewer, recover your chewing gum and trace you from your DNA , so on your arrest for other heinous crimes , you will be shamed.you can be sure you will be looking over your shoulder for the rest of your life
