New Years Goals and Career Changes - A diary for a better me.

Well I'm mid way through my days off. Today will be a NSD hopefully. I am off to the shopping centre with my mum, where she will treat me to a scone and a cup of tea. I have told her about the neighbour and she is doing all she can.
When I get home, I will start the sorting out of my stuff and hopefully tomorrow I will be taking a trip to the charity shop with some bits. I doubt I will get anything selling the stuff, I might be better off just letting the charity shop get the money that they may make.
I am at Drama tonight which will be ok - I don't have to be up early tomorrow so I don't mind going so much.

I didn't managed a NSD yesterday which was ok - I bought a hot chocolate at Drama as I was desperate for a drink and I'd been almost good for 2 days! (We don't count scones with clotted cream and jam as being naughty do we? Or even hot chocolates with squirting cream and a flake?)
I spent most of the evening collecting together what I don't want anymore and I have a little more to do this morning then off to the charity shop we go. My aunt works in the shop so I won't be surprised if I see her with something I can them!!
My cat shaped thing is going berserk this morning - I want a lie in and she wants to go out! She doesn't understand why I don't want the neighbours to see me in next to nothing when I decide to get dressed! Oh well I'll just have to tempt her with something else!
Well best get moving - a brew is calling me xCar Paid in full - 10/06/2016 :j0 -
Hi all.
I managed to get to the charity shop and give a full car load to them. I came back home and realised I still have a load still to go which I forgot about! So they will be taken to mums today so my aunt can collect them this evening. I have a lot of stuff to return to my sister as well.
I have had a low spend weekend which has been good. I only purchased a few things yesterday for breakfasts this week but it cost less than £5 and I got a £1 back as one of the items wasn't mine. I prob wouldn't have bought the items if I hadn't been going for mum - I would have made done with what I already have, but the benefit of the purchases is that it gives me more variety this week. As I follow SW, I won't be using my B option for breakfast now, so I can use it for lunches.
I did well last week and lost 1.5lb - I want to try to maintain this week.
I am going to start a slightly different diet this week, I will only eat things if they are good for my skin - I'm breaking out like mad and need to sort my pot-messed face out!!!
Good news on the neighbour front, something happened yesterday that is all hush hush - the police were involved but the long and short of it, is that there has been no one there since Friday. Hopefully the situation will be resolved ASAP!!

Hi i have read your whole diary and you are doing very well , also good luck with your exams , i have 4 beautiful cats and a dog and yes its expensive , going back to your cat with bald patch on back even though you flead her i would guess its still a flea allergy as my cat had bald patch at base of tail and lots small scabs and vet said it was flea allergy even if there flead and one flea bites them they can get allergy maybe you should take her to the vets as all shell need is a injection , my cats hair has now grown back and all scabs are gone i now have to treat all my pets every four weeks to keep on top of it all i use stronghold I believe its the best treatment as does internal parasites also0

Aww your cat shaped thing is great. Kitty is right, when I was little I had a cat (Lucy) who was allergic to flees but even more allergic to the flee treatment! We now comb our cat which helps.
Well done on your decluttering and losing the weight! I find decluttering just so much hard work.
Hazaah for the neighbours being whisked away!0 -
I think the cat is allergic to fleas. However I can't afford a trip to the vet so I have to just keep treating her with the spray I have and flea treatment. Luckily she can cope with this.
I have spoken with my mum and she gave me the figures for the mortgages on my house. They are as follows:
Mortgage 1 - £27,433.64
Further Advance 1 - £12,484.05
Further Advance 2 - £6,242.03
My car is £15,930
CC- £359.86
So in total my (unofficial) debts are: £61,449.58!! OMG!!!
I am not even counting my student loan there!!
No wonder I feel like I am struggling
Officially my actually debt is just the car and the CC so £16,289.86 - that is still a hell of a lot. No wonder I need to get a better job

Well you know now the extent and you can take this into consideration.
You will be great and you will get this conquered and I will be cheering you on. 0 -
That must be some car

hello myteeduck.
just wanted to say i have just read through your diary.
good luck with your aat exams. they are hard work but def worth it in the end.
i did three years and got MAAT status in 2011. the sense of achievement at the end is fab. i know they can be expensive. i paid for the first two years myself and luckily managed to find a job where they paid for my final year.
im now doing acca as a home study course.
with your cat it sounds like a flea allergy. one of my cats only has to get bitten and she gets a rash. i think she had an injection and that cleared it up.0 -
I think what I am going to have to do is save up a small amount of money - £80 approx and take the cat thing (My baby Poppy) to the vets for a flea allergy jab. I will also change the vet I go to. The one she went to last was carp and the other vet which she is registered to is meant to be fabulous so i'll take her to the other one. In the mean time, I will treat as I am doing for now and re-flea her again.
