Did my weekly shop went over by £2.79 but I bought a bigger bag of potatoes and extra cat food that was on special offer so in the long run it'll save me money.

I bought my mum some Thorntons chocolate for mothers day, they were half price and then I got an extra 20% off so they cosy £11.95 in total instead of £23.95 the good thing is my mum won't care they are from the Christmas collection she just loves Thorntons. I can get her a cheap card from B $ M and they usually have some really pretty one's.
I'm hoping my brother remembers as since the fall out he seems to be ignoring everyone in the family, it really gets to me but there's nothing I can do, it's a long story but we haven't spoke since before Christmas and I can't see us speaking again, he basically has a g/f who has bi-polar and it's ok for her to have it but I have never got support from him, and when my mum battled cancer for 9 months she saw him for a total of 5 days and me and my step dad were struggling to support her but he didn't once offer to help us and my mum had to beg him to come to the hospital to see her. She was an hour drive from him me and DD went to see her and it was a 3 hour drive for us my mum was very upset as was I. He met the new g/f in May and she seems to be all he cares about we have been pushed to the side. It really hurts but I have decided it isn't worth my brain power any more.
The final straw was when my step dad didn't even get a card for his birthday my mum was crying as she has never forgotten birthdays or Christmas or any special occasion she was so hurt by his actions. Well we will see what he does.Saving for Xmas 2015 #84 £163.00 ~ £365

I had a nice surprise in the post I deliver catalogues for next and i got my £20 voucher for storage today so that's being put away for DD as part of her Christmas present as she loves Next but I don't like spending that much on clothes or shoes so I don't actually shop there normally. I should get three more so that will be £60 by the time Christmas comes.
I have looked at my calendar budget and I am finally getting a refund from Vanquis so I should be able to pay a little more off my debt this month :T I know next month will be only about £100 but it will a little closer to my debt free lifeSaving for Xmas 2015 #84 £163.00 ~ £365

I'm still feeling a bit yuck been unwell for a few days but I think it's finally starting to get better. I've looked at my budget and I should be able to round down my debt and I am aiming to pay another £102.93 off this month.
I sat down with OH last night and he was shocked how much I have paid off he thought I had only paid off about £1000 so far so the fact I have paid over £5000 was a huge shock for him :rotfl: it proves I can do anything if I set my mind to it :T
We have looked at my budget and in October I should be debt free and be able to put £2000 away straight away (even though he was trying to convince me I needed a holiday) lol I'm thinking maybe a weekend before Christmas as I would love to go somewhere with a huge Christmas market to get some different Christmas presents, having said that there is a huge one in a town near here and they have some lovely things so maybe just there.
I can easily start putting money away once I'm debt free but we have decided to keep renting this place until I finish uni as I pointed out I don't want to get a mortgage until I have a secure job in case it takes me a while once my degree is finished, having said that there are plenty of computer programming jobs about but we can't predict the future.
Right I'm off to get ready for uni a long day today with a 5 hour gap in my timetable  it means I'm stuck at uni until 7 as it's too much money to come home  but today will be a NSD :TSaving for Xmas 2015 #84 £163.00 ~ £365

Today i have been mega busy, I have made potato and leek soup and frozen five portions ready for next weeks lunches, I just need to heat the portion left for tomorrow for uni. Also made some hob nobs and more ginger cake oh how we love ginger cake in this house lol. I love having the time to cook and bake as I don't have the time much with work, uni and general life.
