I know there's bits in the Newbies thread that will probably answer this question but it's a bit wordy.

I sent the email to the Euro Car Parks but I haven't heard anything back from them, is this normal? And do I now need to forget about it until I get another letter or do I appeal now?
If you appealed more than a month ago and heard nothing, then complain to the BPA by email, as per post #6 of the NEWBIES thread.

I haven't appealed it, all I have done is send an email to euro car parks. Should I have appealed by now?

Parking event 4 October? You're way too late, there's precious little prospect of ECP entertaining an appeal after 3 months (28 days is the 'norm').

What was the nature of your email to ECP? When did you send it, and what was their reply?

That was your challenge - surely? What did it say?

My email was the template from this website. I didn't get a reply but got another letter from then today talking about taking me to court if I don't pay by 02/02/2015. Should I be worried or not?

I sent an email to ECP, was that my appeal? Where do I go now as the newbie thread is pretty confusing. The incident was on October 4th, I didn't get my first letter from them until early December as I moved address and they must have sent it to my old address and I sent my original email to them on 7 December 2014. This letter is now the only other correspondence I have had from them.

How do I get rid of this ASAP? Am I too late? Will I have to pay? No idea whats going on ha.

you can appeal again to ECP stating you have already appealed once and you expect them to drop the charge or issue a popla code for independent arbitration , add the template letter saying its a reminder of your previous appeal

as for DRP, this thread has told you what to do with them so just to reiterate I will say the I word again for you

    IGNORE

ignore , ignore , ignore DRP

DRP cannot do anything other than send you threatograms, so stop reading them

if ECP wont play ball and give you a popla code (or drop the charge), you will have to go into ignore mode for 6 years

only come back if you get an LBC or a court claim from northampton or salford courts (or if you get a POPLA code from ECP - unlikely)

    Q. How do you know when a debt collector is lying?

    A. His lips are moving.

No-one's going to take you to court. Ignore them.

You did appeal then, so complain to the BPA as per post #6 on the NEWBIES thread, email to the BPA that ECP have not sent you a POPLA code. Do not say who was driving, just complain as keeper.

My concern on this matter though is that I didn't appeal within 28 days as I moved at the time and didn't get the original letters. As I sent the template email to ECP and I had no reply whatsoever I don't think I have had my first appeal turned down? The newbie thread is very wordy, and I appreciate to most of you guys on here you understand it perfectly but I have no idea what it all means. I read somewhere on here DO NOT IGNORE and that kind of thing but now I'm being advised to ignore and I'm not sure why. Is there any point in me in applying for a POPLA if I haven't heard back from my first appeal? I have a degree so I like to thing I have some intelligence but that newbie thread is just frying my brain haha.

I got another letter today saying it has been reduced to £120 to keep it out of court ha.

do not IGNORE a PPC invoice applies from day 1 , after 28 days they can and will ignore your appeal (from a postal NTK) and rarely will they give out a popla code after you have run down the clock

if the PPC do not issue a valid popla code, you cannot go to popla, its that simple

DRP cannot do anything as they have no standing, all they can do is send you threatograms hoping to intimidate you into paying, which is what you received today

read post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread to understand about debt collectors like DRP and their co-company Zenith

    read this too https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5161978

    DRP = Dont Respond - Period !

a BPA complaint may result in the PPC issuing the popla code

so the advice is do not ignore a PPC

    ignore DRP

complain to the BPA if you appeal and get no popla code

go to POPLA if you ever receive a POPLA code from the PPC

hopefully that explains it in simple terms

our concern on this matter is you have not complained to the BPA , which you were advised to do

you seem to think there is some magic wand like harry potter owns to just wave this away in a heartbeat - there isnt
