  • Going to a Christmas market and only spending three quid isn't bad. I agree it could have been a lot worse!!

    Bexster :)

Bexster it has to be a record for me! Normally I'd spend more and eat loads, but since we had already been to dinner it helped me avoid all the tasty things!:rotfl: apart from some exciting black bomber cheese. Omg it's fantastic!:p

  • Must go to the supermarket tonight :(

There's no milk left, or eggs, yoghurt, bread or salad! Whoops!
Hate buying gluten free bread, it's so expensive! I only buy it a couple of times a month and try not to rely on having it. But if I have to go to training days with work it's best to just pack a sandwich with me.

Been trying to use up food from the cupboards. :D Had a handful of dates and a gf digestive for breakfast today:rotfl:

Also need a 2015 diary to put my shifts into, hope I can find a small cheap one when I'm out.

Also need dog food. Can see this being fairly expensive! :(

Also got my nearly free Xmas tree up and looking fabulous! :D

ebay fees are 10% of your final selling price AND of your postage. So if you sold an item for £5 and charged £2.50 postage their fee would be 50p + 25p = 75p...... And then paypal fees come off the money you receive (not sure what they are now but they used to be 3.4% + 20p per each transaction (if it was a personal p/pal acct)

Thank you greent, that's good to know! Will be better able to figure out how much I'm really making from it all now.

My first ever gluten free loaf turned out like rubber :rotfl::eek:
    They haven't improved much since!
I can, however, make a fairly respectable banana loaf. Sometimes...

  • £30 lighter from the shopping trip, but did manage to get a gigantic bag of dog food too. And my diary was half price :D

Feeling pretty organised. I've worked out I need to pay £155 a month to the student overdraft to clear it before it starts getting £1 a day interest. Already paid £80 to it with last months pay but will need to really try and put more to it than that. Once it's out the way I can focus more on my overpayments :)

I got a Panasonic bread maker at the start of the year, and it's fantastic

Turns out a perfect loaf each time, and lots of other things can be done like dough for rolls, pizza bases and French sticks.

I've barely bought a shop made loaf since I bought the bread maker.
