I'd really like a board like this I've just gotten a mortgage a couple of months ago and have also just started paying into a pension I'm really struggling where best to put my money either in the offset account for work I eventually want to do on my place, a pension or an ISA stocks and shares account for investments and there's probably more things I've forgotten but would be useful to have it all in one place!

I'm mainly hanging out on the MFW board at the moment as it's a really friendly board.

I for one, will aspire to join one day....Hopefully after our MF journey comes to an end :j and we can then look to plot and plan our 'financial freedom/independence' for the future :D

I love this idea (we've discussed it on MFW loads of times) and am happy to offer my Excel knowledge (as it is) ;)
  • Excellent idea and many of us are taking a more holistic approach to our finances thanks to :money:.

I'd like to add my support to this new board. My focus is currently on paying off the mortgage, but I always have our long-term financial freedom in the back of my mind. Ever since I was about 6 actually. :D

This is a really good idea, I would love a board that looks at the whole picture too.
  • Hi all

    This is a yes :)

We can't set it up right now but when we do it'll probably be an "Early Retirement" sub-board of the Pensions board.

Meanwhile if one of you would like to set up a thread on the Pensions board titled "threads we think could be moved to the Early retirement board" then post links in the thread so we can look at them and decide when we set it up that would be a huge help :)

Fantastic Andrea, thanks a lot :j. Will do :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)
