And then you have the question I have been banging on about regarding patient confidentiality where the driver and RK could be different people, with the former not wanting the latter to know they have attended the hospital.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Updated and added photos on Tinypic http://tinypic.com/3ia4aqtd

These pics were taken in daylight, not at night in the darkeness....

I got a response from my MP and the hospital in response to my complaint....I think I will get the stock response but I was livid in my letter...I save the NHS thousands per month in caring for both these women and get not a penny for them as I work, so cannot even get Carers allowance...I ferry them back and to hospitals, taking time out of my leave and and never claim a penny, I am on call 24 hours a day...the mentally and physically disabled lady with complex needs would require a nursing home costing thousands per week, and then the NHS penalise us further...
    I am very pipped off

I have been up to Warrington today..I have uploaded another album to Tinypic...http://tinypic.com/3ia4aqtd as this is again a reference point to help others in the future....the signage is more consistent in the main parking area, but if you turn towards A and E, as we do with the Blue Badge, and the disabled spaces, there are numerous signs, not as inconsistent as Halton, but none the less, where I parked at the rear of Burtonwood Wing, near to the portacabins, there was nothing unless you drive through the no entry sign...stuff you would not see in the dark anyway. As I said, I did make an attempt to pay on the last occasion as I had tried at Halton, as I double checked with another patient (a man with an elderly chap who was saying BB Holders dont pay and the younger was saying we do) but the machine just would not progress past the Car Reg details..I took a picture of me having input car reg details in order to pay on the last occasion, but not putting that in Tiny pic as it has the car reg details on it. I stopped across a police car that was parked up and the Police officer watched me faffing about trying and looking for assistance from anyone, like a warden. Unless its made obvious to you, how often do you drive towards an area and read every sign you pass, when in the past, your situation has been different? I think a fairer way would be ticket on entry and pay on exit via a barrier...no confusion then is there. Thankyou for the advice so far. Still worried though.

"A spokesman said automatic-number plate recognition cameras have been installed to prevent misuse of the car park and to stop drivers picking spots where their vehicles obstruct other motorists and cause hazards."

What utter cobblers. It has been proven time and again that ANPR cameras are not fit for purpose when applied to private car parks. There is no way on earth that ANPR cameras at entrance and exit will stop let alone detect a car causing an obstruction or parking where it shouldn't.

Do you have any update on this Jevban? Did you receive any " fines"? I have a blue badge and regularly visit Warrington hospital and up to now have parked in disabled bay and not paid. I havn't been fined yet. However, I have an appointment at Halton this week and not sure whether they would overlook the payment for BB holders. I'm tempted to take a chance as I wouldn't pay the "fine" anyway but my OH gets very tetchy with confrontation.
It's going to get even more expensive for us anyway when the new toll bridge opens at £2. That would mean £4 bridge fee and £3 parking just to visit Halton hospital. It's disgraceful.

Don't know about the parking charge but if you have a blue badge you wont have to pay the tolls. ;)

I'm sorry to jump on a thread that is quite a few months old, but I have recently had two of these notices in my mail. The first one was June and another today, and as I have lapsed on the 14 day reduced rate fee I now have the full £75 to pay and if this is not paid there will be debt recovery charges placed on top. This has got me really worried as I just don't have this stupid kind of money to pay out.

I know lots of advice has been given out to direct people to the sticky thread for newbies, but I have tried to find this and I am not familiar with forums at all and don't seem to be able to locate it. I only got on this page to see all these posts through a google search about parking fines/notices at Warrington Hospital. Then I joined and was able to post, lol. So can anybody give me advice now on my predicament or can post me a direct link to the sticky thread for newbies so I can find my answer there?

    Thanks
