Civil enforcement parking fine: Court papers received
Comments
-
In light of the Criminal case in Scotland where Civil Enforcemant are being prosecuted for operating a Fraudulanet Scheme, and 11 counts under the consumer contract regulations, it may be worth bringing this to the courts attention, and stating that you may wish to claim your costs back from the principal who took on Civil enforcement on their land which in this case is the Co-op as their is a real risk that Civil enforcement could go belly up in a few months /QUOTE] Sooner the better. :rotfl::rotfl:PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0

I have called to check to see if DEAL paid their £25 court fees and they HAVE!
:mad::(
I was banking on them not paying. this means they are coming to court right??
Also I forgot to say I no longer own the car and haven't for several years so I am not the registered keeper although I was at the time does that make a difference? im guessing not but want to cover every angle!
thanks0 -
Not necessarily.
Just be wary of any phone calls near the date of the hearing telling you it has been cancelled ... these will be from DEAL hoping to trick you into not turning up so they can get a default win. (Tell any caller that you'll confirm this direct with the court at your earliest opportunity, as you are aware of some claimants trying to pull this scam).
You would be very unlucky if DEAL did indeed turn up at the hearing.0 -
I win!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::j:j:j:j:j:j:T:T:T:T:T
I phoned the court for one final check to see if they would be attending tomorrow only to be told that DEAL have withdrawn!
very very happy and thank you to all of you who have advised me.
Anyone got any next steps advice for getting these people prosecuted?0 -
They are being prosecuted. They are in court again today sadly it's only to fix a trial date.
Submit a list of your expenses to the court. Make sure you don't leave anything out.0
