Thank you, booked some tickets to KA. Wasn't sure what to go for but seen Blue Man and Love before so went for something different seeing as they're free :)
  • SF is a great place to visit. Internal flights booked with Southwest can be had for $78 (inclusive of baggage) return. Clearly, you lose travel days, but is a cheap way of doing 2 cities.

You could rent a car and drive to somewhere else in the area. Here's some possible places, distances and photos:

Zion National Park, southwest Utah 164 miles http://goo.gl/0iJvKz and http://goo.gl/AgBzob

Bryce Canyon National Park, southwest Utah 264 miles http://goo.gl/zILtqP

Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim), northern Arizona 275 miles

Big Bear Lake, California (in the San Bernardino Mountains) 210 miles http://bigbear4vacations.com/images/big-bear-lake.jpg

A longer road trip could involve Yosemite National Park in eastern California http://goo.gl/DxAx7y plus San Francicso and the Pacific Coast Highway http://goo.gl/xYyVuY - or head east for Colorado and the Rocky Mountains.

We really disliked Zarkana, but part of that is because most of the acts were things we had seen before in other Cirque shows...I was so excited about it and so disappointed.

Thank you so much for this post. If I had not read your post I might have come away disappointed. However, I went with a clear mind and expecting to see thing we have already seen. Yes we saw many things we had already seen, but still came away having had a great evening. Now if only Buffalo Stampede had been a bit nicer.

Can anyone please point me in the direction of any vouchers for either of the shopping outlets in Las Vegas. We will be going to one of them, and if we can save any money, so much the better.

  • Has anyone visited Death Valley whilst staying in Vegas? A friend has recommended a visit there but just wondered if it's worth doing? And what is there to see? I know its only a couple of hours away but trying to weigh up if we have time as we only have 4 nights. (10 days to go! :D)
