  • Some amazing achievements this year OCC been a joy to follow you this year on your journey :] hope you smash 2016

Thanks lil I'm very pleased with how things have gone in the end.

Looking forward to kicking on next year and thrashing those figures in a downward direction!
  • day 3 of our christmas holidays. We have been to watch the new star wars film and had lunch at chiquito first which was really really good. the whole day cost about £60 for lunch, tickets, snacks which is all good and came out of my personal spends. Miniocc wore his wookey hoody and several grown men commented on wanting one!!! It is super cool though!

Had a lovely email asking me to review some wireless headphones worth about £100 on my blog. Lovely stuff. I am actually writing quite a lot on my blog at the moment and am up to over 100 visits every day again. Even on Christmas day!!!

my shares have been sold, should receive payment by bacs by end of week :) Will go into my s&s isa. I also paid in the cheque from the closed virgin money trust too which should clear early next week due to bank holidays. Must have another little read of the investing book to know what to do with it. Will definately be keeping it simple though :)

10p became payable on tcb but i'm saving that to get me off to a very very very small start in the new year!
  • Great figures for the year and very similar to ours.

Taking DS1 to see Star Wars tomorrow and im not sure who's the more excited, Thats a great hoody, we have a Kylo Ren tshirt all lined for him and he hasnt seen it yet - he'll be super excited.

    You'll love it it's fab :)

We have very similar figures, almost identical. Do you think arrival of DD1 will effect start of year? There will be plenty of time to catch up though :)

I'm aiming for £6k overpayment and £3k savings a huge target for me :). The perfect senario would be £113k this time next year. What's your end of year target, we can cheer each other on :)

Thanks really going to hit it hard in 2016 as I really don't want to keep working forever :)
  • Forgot to say in my earlier post I have upped my s&s ISA from £50 to £100 per month to take into account I am not putting into virgin money :) just need to sort my money shuffle as this comes out of a different account.

Good luck to you too. Hopefully 2016 will be easier all round :)

The chewwy hoodie is very cool, it was for his birthday and he loves it! I think the BF would like one too!

Amended the money shuffle so I think that's all bits and bobs relating to closing the VM done. A couple of utilities to sort out and then onto the pensions :)
