I'm sure you are
Today was personal spends payday but I've got a lot to pay out this month so I might as well not have bothered. I am doing a second course in January so have to pay the balance of £200 this month. I do have savings to cover it but want to leave them alone if possible. Take out other outgoing I have about £100 left for the month. I want to try and keep at least of that half for presents although once again I've savings for presents but don't want to touch them. I can last on £50 for the month!!!0 -
Good luck with the personal spend target. This is always a tricky time of year, but it's amazing how little you can spend when your mind is set on itStarting Mortgage 01.08.08 £171,209.24. Totally, I'm trying to spend very little on bits and bobs at the moment. I just avoid shops all together!!!
Do need to pop to sainsbury on the weekend to double up my nector points on some more Lego. Shouldn't need to spend any actual money though.
Purchased book for my dad's birthday this weekend. £7.99 from Amazon, bargainous. It just needs to arrive now! Will get some socks or something in Sainsbury to go with it.
Chuffed that I've secured a Asda delivery for 23rd December, set myself up as a new customer and went through TCB. Stuck 3 cases of beer in the basket which I'll amend at a later date. Hopefully it'll track. If so that's £15 ish in the mortgage bag.
Christmas Eve party is in planning stage. All but 2 people confirmed as coming so that'll be about 30 people coming.
No money news today. Just keeping an eye on everything. Need to make sure money is in place for mortgage payment next week.0 -
Actually a bit of money news. £10 save together interest arrived. Sent straight to mortgage.0

Signature updated. Another £50.50 arrived from TCB for car insurance renewal
added £4.50 to make it up to £55. Total OP's so far this month £445
Nothing much more expected from cashback this year, hopefully an old one I've been waiting months for might get sorted but that's about it.
The BF is adding more stuff to eBay so that's stuff out of the house in a weeks time hopefully.
It's getting to the point that were doing the best we can with our income without going super freugal.0 -
I was all mentally prepared for eBay listings tonight. Got about 50 things at the ready, made an enthusiastic start with 4 items...then the website started playing up! So enthusiasm dampened and listings postponed 24hrs!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

In fairness we've done about 15 in total. Between us!
Today I've been on my course, and it was very draining. Feel really good about it all though.
On my way stopped in sainsburys to pick up lunch and did a double nectar exchange for another Lego toydoing well on free presents
Nothing further of note happening0 -
