Just realised I've really gotta sort something for BFs 50th in June. That's going to be expensive too. 2015 is going to be an expensive year start to finish :-(
I've booked village hall so that bits done. I'm finding bands are VERY expensive so it might have to be a disco. I'll do my own buffet so I've set a budget of about £200 for that. That lot is about £600 :-(0 -

That sounds like such a great idea but there's the little point of a 6 year old, 2 dogs and a business to look after. Plus my passport is hoping off for renewal next week. Waaaaahaaaaa I'd love Barcelona!0 -

I love a party! It will be worth every penny. I'm a believer I'm any excuse to get everyone together.

Do you know that's really true. It's also a fantastic thing to get my teeth into whilst I have zero saving motivation! I go through dips like this where I'm just not interested usually a couple of weeks and I get straight back on track!
Hired a band for the party to today £500!!! Never mind it'll be very good fun!
Actually with the exception of party organising I am very negative at the moment, maybe it's the weather!0 -
It's hard to maintain the high level of motivation. Keep chipping away and I'm sure you will get out the other end.

That's really true, it's hard to stay motivated 100 percent of the time especially on the most spendy year on record!!!!
It is really good to know I'm at least not wasting money (except £500 on a band fora party hehe!) anymore and once I get the motivation to do a bit more reorganising I will see that I am actually still saving, getting the cc down (it's on 0% so I'm not worried) and I've had no overdraft for months either.
Ive also reduced my business overdraft to a big fat 0 too over the last year. At one point it was 5 figures!!! and that doesn't include pence!
So it's not all bad but OPs have been low for a couple of months now and im annoyed with myself about that really.0
