I suspect the reason that he has not looked at them is because he has been on holiday. Traditionally August and September are referred to the Long Vacation during this time Judges go off on thier holidays. While not all judges go away during this period the senior resident judges are likely to do so and matters of this nature would remain for thier return.
Cheers Stokey,
That is something I was not aware of.
Does that mean I can commit any offence I want while they are away on holiday ?Reclaims in progress:

You are joking, jester, forgive my pun (and Angnes, do I know you from somewhere??).... I was one of the Cardiff 14th August crowd - was told last week that Judge Hendicott was back from his hols Monday this week and would be addressing all the stays .... Judge Hickingbottom is due back on th 17th.. so lets hope they get their act together and send us their decision!
Smutley,
It's odd that they will give that much information to one person yet virtually nothing to the next person dontcha think ?
Must be down to who you talk to I guess. My Swansea accent must play against me when I talk to those Cardiff courtsReclaims in progress:

I think its luck of the draw who you get on the phone - apparently when one claimant off the CAG website took in their stay objection the clerk remarked it was the first one she'd seen, then someone else posted that another clerk said that they'd received about 500 of them!!! Lets hope the clerk I spoke to was correct though! I will be ringing again next week to find out as my objections were put in over 4 weeks ago... but then who am I to the courts, only a bank claimant... now if I was barclays bank, perhaps another story!0

Just thought I would share a letter I received from First Direct yesterday which rather amused me.
In recent months, in light of the appalling stalling tactics employed by First Direct and their so-called solicitors D&G, I decided to change banks and opened up another account elsewhere. However, I didn't actually close the FD account and so it still exists.
Today I received the following from FD ...
As part of First Direct's commitment to customer service, I am undertaking a review of your current banking facilities.
I notice from our records that there have been no funds paid into your account since 25th June 2007.
As it appears that you are not making full use of this account, I wonder if you are in some way dissatisfied with the service which First Direct provides. If you are not already aware, we now offer text message banking as well as internet banking, which you may find useful in monitoring your finances.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements and ask that you contact out Credit Service Team
I have to admit that I almost choked on my tea when I read this letter.
Moi ? Dissatisfied with their service ?
Of course not. I always take legal action against people who provide a service with which I am satisfied !! LMAO
I am sorely tempted to phone their 'Credit Services Team' as they have invited me to do and then tell them how impressed I am with their failure to ever reply to any correspondence I sent in to them in regard to my reclaiming my charges. I could tell them how wonderful their 'solicitors' are - the very same solicitors who never answer their phone and never ever respond to any communication and who have constantly stalled and abused both my time and the whole court system and who immediately applied for a Stay as soon as the OFT announcement came out.
Of course I think First Direct are a wonderful bank. Their service is second to none and they care so much about their customers that they respond promptly to all claims .... N O T !!
These banks really do take the biscuit when it comes down to sheer bloody cheek !!

Can someone give me some advice here, like dwjohnno81 I am also on hardship/benefits and was when Barclays were charging me, what can I do to make this known and who should I make it known to?
I was meant to be in court today but like most other people it was put on hold because of the test case and I did not need to attend.
Please reply, thanks.0 -
