Hi, I had a very quiet time with selling but it has now picked up a bit.

£420 selling some old gold and yesterday £70 selling old white goods that had been gathering dust in the garage.

I think my total is now somewhere around £520 over half way there

Hi, LadyEB:hello:

I don't know of any list for these kind of sales, I just look out for announcements in the 2 local papers or on noticeboards etc.

They work just like a car boot sale except they are indoors, in village halls etc (round here anyway). Several ones I do are in the same village hall (put on by different organisers each time) as it's a good local resource, and sometimes it's organised by an animal charity, sometimes by a local windmill preservation society, sometimes by the local village church, and sometimes by the village hall fund itself. You just pay a pitch fee to the organiser when you turn up. You usually have to book a pitch as space is limited so if you see an ad for one that you fancy I advise you to get in touch as early as possible. Regulars tend to find out the full list of sale dates and book a slot for all of them at once! In most cases locally it's £5 a 'pitch', pretty much what car boot pitches are in my area, but at least it's warm, they provide the tables, and there's easy access to toilets and often to refreshments:T. . As with car boot sales, anything you make from selling is yours:j. There isn't the volume of buyers that you get at a car boot sale though, sometimes it can be dire. I did one once and made about £12 after fees for 3 hours selling:eek:

Good Luck:beer:

That is so helpful, thank you so much!:D

• It's great so see so much junk and clutter leaving our homes! My selling has slowed right down because it's the holidays and my priority is keeping the children busy for the next two weeks. Hubby is working away most nights so i may venture into the junk boxes and get more things listed, but my mojo has gone at the minute.

I have sold another 3 items on flabby but had two non-payers grrrrr, it really annoys me. Why go the hassle of bidding and then saying you'll pay but not paying. I think e-bay should bring back the negative feedback option for sellers to warn others. Will get the 3 new sales wrapped and packaging and then update my total, will definitely get me over the £800 milestone as one item sold for £42.
£2 sealed pot....continue from 2014 piling them in until termunda full!
• Last 3 sales all posted (another £47.73 into the pot) and I'm drawing the line on March's selling.

Total March Sales Ebay £430.95 & Local Sites £107-50 = £538.45

Total 2015 = £810.92
