Sadly all that ends on Monday when I go back on roster. Been good while it has lasted though!

Hiya, glad to hear all is well with you, hubby and the boys - I have enjoyed reading the discussion on breastfeeding - I breastfed all 3 of mine - I breastfed Georgia (now nearly 2) until she was 10 months old, and I stopped at just the right time for both of us. Hope all goes well when you are back at work (on the rosta) next week - Natlou x

Hi Natlou, glad to hear you're ok!

Was looking forward to an hour's uninterrupted computer time as baby has just fallen asleep but DH has just had a text from a friend from work to say she's on her way over with her breakfast. Nice to see her, but  - things to do, and I'll see her at work this afternoon anyway, so the point is  ?!!

Well, didn't get much done yesterday as friend from work brought her boyfriend round and chatted for about an hour, then another mate called in to collect some coupons for ToysRUs I said he could have, and chatted for about an hour, then the in-laws arrived to bring Adam back, and the day was pretty much over!

Feel very proud of myself this morning - I WALKED to the Post Office to post a couple of Ebay parcels. Took Greg in his pram while Adam was at play-school. It's about a mile each way and took about 45 mins so I'm going to try and do that far more often. Also been on DH's case about getting bike tyres inflated so I can cycle to work (also about a mile - walked it the other day and it took about 25 mins, hoping it would be about 10 on the bike).

We need to comlpetely revise our spreadsheet as so many things have changed. I haven't updated my sig for ages and it's totally out of date.

Water pouring through the bathroom ceiling this morning, so looks as though that'll have to be added to out priority list. We'd stopped using the en-suite shower as water was coming through the lounge coving from that, and are in the process of starting the re-fit there, but looks as though we'll have to do both bathrooms. More money to spend, but at least it will increase the valuation of the house, which is part of the master-plan: hoping to re-mortgage to a better deal when we're only about 80% LTV rather than the 97% we bought it with.

Right, just found a new challenge for things to achieve in May. Here's the list that I posted:

    Money

£10-a-day challenge - want to aim for £20 including Ebay
Try and complete the Olympic Challenge - £348.46 to go
Sort out new spreadsheet based on all new ins/outs since house move
Write to HSBC about reclaiming mortgage redemption fees
List at least 50 new items on Ebay and do 200 listing edits (it's complicated!)
At least 50 mysearchfunds clicks a day
Do ALL surveys except the really poor or prize draw ones
Check Pigsback accounts twice a week
Be brass-necked enough to hand as many coupons as poss when shopping
Re-try the free bongo, and play Free Gala on Thursdays

    Home

Finish all the rooms we've started to decorate
Find ironing lady and gardener (sorry folks, it just won't get done otherwise!)
Get all our stuff out of friend's garage where it's in storage
Properly clean/tidy the house, then keep it clean!
Organise the paperwork mountain and not let it build up again
    Family/Friends
Spend less time on here () and more playing with DS (Not the Nintendo one!)
Try and find babysitter so DH & I can get a night to ourselves, even just for a couple of hours.
Write all the Thank-You cards I've not done yet for baby gifts
Ring mother more often and be more patient with her!
Reply to all the emails I've got flagged

    Health

Lose half a stone this month. But need to get weighed first to see start weight!
NOT visit McDs more than once a week, however convenient it is!
Try to cook a proper meal at least every other day
Find slow cooker and use at least once a week
Try and eat the 5-a-day at least every other day
Walk to work, park or Post Office (1-1.5 miles) 3 times a week
Keep on at DH until he fixes bikes, then actually use them!

The challenge is on! Not May yet, so might go and stuff my face and spend the evening trashing the house and spending money! Maybe not the best way to start though, so instead I'm going to try and get a bit of Ebay going ready for tomorrow's 5p day.

Hi MM! Thanks - need the motivation! So far I'm off to a reasonable start. I haven't done most of the things on the list, but I have spent the entire day (between baby stuff) listing on ebay and sorting that stuff out. DH has also painted most of the hallway and half of Greg's bedroom today, so it hasn't been a wasted day at all. And I've been having a lovely Gala-day but won diddly-squat so far.

Just had the bed collected that we sold for £116 - DH is learning, as the guy handed him the full exact amount. There were a few paint marks on it that we hadn't noticed before, so I said we should round it down - DH gave him the £6 back - normally he'd have offered fifty quid or something!

And we had some pasta out the cupboard this evening. Off to ring my mother...

Good luck on the challenge - looks ike a lot to be getting on with! Where's the original post - I think I could use something like that.
    Edit - it's ok, I found it.
