Sd card problem.

the phone is sony exp m2 3month old
the card is about 5yrs old and was brought from the phone shop

It's probably popped it's clogs, flash memory (SD cards, USB sticks, SSD's, etc) have a limited number of read/write cycles before they fail.

If the card did fail just after the pics were moved then there is nothing the end user can do to bring them back.

you have probably fallen for the fake sd card thing.


1: how big is your memory card


2: have you a method (card reader etc) of connecting the card to your PC



however we still havnt received an answer

We are not worried about your initial post , nor my initial one after yours, it's not about us it's about shaun's card problem. He may be able to recover some stuff from the card but computer say huh ...waiting user input:cool:

and h2testw will NOT write over used sections , it will just place 1 meg sections of data on the card , read then and display the results


those files can easily be deleted after.

How ? are they stored in the master file table of the card then (nope cos it hasn't got one) !!!!!!

I can tell you I am 62 does that mean I have failed, wait for the OP's response don't assume a five year old card is borked, it could be due to an android/windows update. Failing that keep digging your own hole until the OP responds. As I suggested I don't know and of course I don't think I am psychic

Sad to see you have left, but denigrating the OP hasn't not the tech savi (savvy...perhaps in your opinion) , mind you

suggests that I may have failed but hey I can still use the ' instead of the , and know double positive makes a negative in your opinion Oh BTW we are trying to help shaun to save money not immediately suggest he buys a new card and phone Since it is not QED you have not demonstrated that at all (but it may prove half right).
