Ryanair Acceptable Photo ID for UK Domestic Travel

My partner and I are travelling on a Ryanair flight from Glasgow to Stansted, then onwards to Brno.
The terms of carriage state that either a passport or an EEA national identity card are accepted as forms of photographic ID on international flights. However, under the section outlining acceptable ID for UK domestic routes, only passports and driving licences are outlined as acceptable forms of ID.
The first thing that came to mind was that EEA identity cards weren't mentioned in this section simply due to the fact that they are not provided by the UK government. However, we're afraid to take the chance as we're both totally aware of how pedantic Ryanair routinely are.
I'm just wondering if any EEA ID card holders have experience of this.
Thanks!

Does their website ask you to put in a document type and number for the Uk domestic flight booking?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Ryanair will not let you use them for the domestic part of your journey. They used to refuse to accept driving licences until recently
But now they have become all cuddly0 -
No, we were only asked to input ID information for our international flight.0

Driving licenses are nothing like ID cards though... ID cards in other EEA countries are more equivalent to passports.
If they do now accept driving licenses, I find it incredibly hard to believe they wouldn't accept an EEA Identity card.0 -

They do accept them, for international travel, not domestic flights. Possibly because we don't have govt issued ID cards0 -
Surely you'll need passports for the STN-Brno leg so why not use passports for the domestic leg too? Am I missing something or are you making this unnecessarily complicated? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

I don't see what that matters, plenty of non-British EEA citizens presumably take domestic flights in the UK.
I was merely saying that's it's bizarre they'd take driving licenses but not EEA cards considering the EEA cards are a "higher" form of ID. It would almost be like accepting driving licenses but not foreign passports!0 -

It does seem bizarre, but nevertheless their T&Cs on this subject definitely do not mention national ID cards as acceptable ID for UK domestic flights (they are mentioned for domestic in other countries).

It's possible you could get away with using an EEA ID card, but I would suggest that even in the age of a more user-friendly Ryanair, it would be a brave move to turn up (knowing this) with only the ID card and try and argue the toss with them at the gate...perhaps try it but have the passport or a UK driving licence in the pocket, just in case.0 -

Indeed. This is the Ryanair who sold my hubby a ticket, at the airport and then Two minutes later refused to allow him to board because he was using his driving licence as Id. Domestic flight
Ryanair can not have changed all it's spots over night. Scrutinise the T&C's and don't deviate one inch0
