£4450 for me having had the card just over 12 months.0

Imagine how much the interest would be if you owed at £4450 @ 34.9% crippling!0

Even more scary is how much my yearly statement showed how much I have used the card over 13,000 worth of transactions but have never paid any interest and as I have the cash back card gives a little back. Your right though on any credit building card if you paid interest it would be difficult to make inroads, and any drop in income would be difficult.

A rough estimate would be £1500 per year in interest!0

I am guessing it is the searches which are causing me a huge problem as I have no other negatives on my files, I will leave it a few months by that time they should all be off my reports, so hopefully by then I should start to get more positive news trying to get credit.Vikipollard wrote: »I suspect you may find that it is because you have multiple searches on your file. Might be making you look desperate for credit?
Did you check your files before you applied (anywhere)?0 -
I have an Aqua card and got it when I started my first job, just over a year ago. I was only on £420 a month and was accepted straight away.0
