I've had something similar - spend over £40. The extra points can take several days to go on - I usually get an email notification.
The use of the conditional spend voucher makes no difference - it's just an additional way of paying the bill. The only total that matters is the final one after any multi buys are taken account of.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Not necessary. My coupons are based on what you buy or if you have shopped in a isle or section eg washing powder.
.
Don't know what they base it on, but in my case it's certainly not what I buy - I haven't eaten/bought meat in over 20 years, so heaven only knows why they keep offering coupons for chicken and mince :mad:0 -
It sounds a good idea, I spend a lot in Sainsbury's but only in small amounts each time so probably wouldn't gain on the ones where you have to spend so much to get the extra points. Also wouldn't like it if you stopped getting the till spits as I love seeing the one where if you spend say £20 in TU, you get 8p off a litre of petrol. Just had that one, and another if I spent £15 on household got £7 off petrol. I used the last one at Crystal Peaks, their petrol is only £103.9 a litre, so with 7p a litre off and 10 points per litre offer which is on till 31st Oct, I got my 26 litres of petrol for around 92p per litre!!0

You still get the till spits, I used the household/7p off one last week.

In case not mentioned elsewhere in the thread, these 'coupons' will only work on supermarket purchases, not at the convenience stores.0

The 800-1600 bonus points offer never appears now, after being there weekly for quite a while, so the rest of the coupons offers total to about 200-300 bonus points on each weekly food shop. But I still managed to get to 102,000 points in 18 months mostly with Mycoupons and ebay. And it was ebay where the mega points came from, they send out various 5x, 10x offers quite regularly. But the best was a 20x points on 'home and garden' items...we were planning on buying a basic log cabin for the garden, so when this bonus points offer email landed, a quick look on ebay revealed decent cabins and we got 1900 + 38,000 bonus points for that! My original goal with this extreme collecting was to get 100,000 points, enough to buy a new iphone, and reckoned it would take 2 years of collecting, but I got there in 18 months, and this is not by buying anything I wouldn't have bought anyway and with an average family spend on food/fuel etc. It was a satisfying moment when converting by Nectar points to ebay vouchers and getting the iPhone 7 a couple weeks ago.
I've now begun collecting my next 100,000 for the iPhone 8 or 9 in 2 years! Already got over 5000 points in a couple weeks, mainly by grabbing the 3000 bonus points on Nectar site for buying paint from Dulux (I was buying paint anyway).
I do recommend pairing your nectar card with ebay, there's many chances to get mega points with this, but the main thing is converting your points balance to vouchers, this means almost anything is available to spend your points on.0 -
I tend to get stuff like double points on £30 spend, I used to get a lot more but I'm not grumbling, however what I do find irritating is that the bonus points on products purchased have stopped paying out even though I've stored them, I can't be bothered keeping the receipts and chasing it up though as it always seems so trivial but it really is annoying.0

I've been using the My Coupons site since last year. I've had a couple of problems with the points not being added and it's usually to do with the product code not being the same. For instance, I had a coupon for extra points on their woodland eggs, orange box. They changed the name in store to Yorkshire eggs but on the site the box said British eggs. The same eggs, same orange box, but slightly different name and the product code was different. So now I make a note of the product code so I know I'm buying the right thing.
Logged on this morning as I should have got a load of new offers and there is only the double points on a £20 shop there, nothing else at all. I know this was supposed to be a trial thing but does this mean it's ended or is it just a glitch? :huh:0 -

Thanks for the product code tip. I also only have the double points on a £20 shop, was going there this morning too, lets hope they sort the problem quickly.0 -
When I checked yesterday evening all the new offers were there so it must have just been a glitch.0
