Will a PAYG sim be disconnected if not used?

    He didn't exlain anything about a control panel. I believe you can use a smartphone as remote control and that therefore the switch he mentioned would be a software one. I did wonder why he would store the SIM in a box, though :)

    It works by ringing the number to the gates once, it then disconnects and providing the phone you are ringing from is registered to the gates they will open.
    So no call is made as it is never answered
    It's not just about the money
