Found 1 thats been lying in a drawer for years and has an expiry date 09/2003, September '03 (at least I think that's what it is) and was basically wondering if there would be much of a point in getting this developed. I have no idea of what is on it and although it probably isn't important I think it would be better to get it developed just to see whats on the film instead of gambling and throwing it out. To save wasting money, I was wondering whether anyone knew if a film that appears to be around 4 or 5 years out of date is worth developing and what are the chances of it coming out clearly (if any)?

If I were you I'd have it developed and printed as depending on how it's been stored it might still have some shots on that you can then tweak a bit on a scanner. Go for Truprint compact prints - ie 13cm x 9cm and it should cost around £1.50 mark, give or take.
I've had film that had been forgotten and developed late and sometimes it comes out with an overall red tinge but still viewable.
Give it a try. Good luck.

Hi
I would as well, I found one of old work colleagues - from 10 years ago and had it developed. Quite embarassing as i remembered when i got it back why i didn't take it to be processed in the first place; it was of a leaving 'do' and had quite close up shots of the stripper that was brought in to mark the occasion. Quite amusing when she handed them back to me, as i had no idea what was on them.0
