Forgot to say I reduced my credit card limit to £1,000. Going to keep that TRULY for emergencies. I still have another account which is 0% which I'm paying off my standing order then that too will be closed.

Made a small overpayment of £2 this morning to my credit card. Nothing else to report, went to watch the football yesterday in a local pub but only drank coke. Have done all the cooking I had planned so today I just need to clean the kitchen!
  • Loving your goals LCC :D - I will be sitting down at some point today to consider my own October goals.

Thanks CCL, I find it helps having little targets to work towards. This PAD stuff is really good too, I feel really excited that all these tiny payments will add up. Sad isn't it lol.
  • Not sad at all. We all have things that we have to work towards... I haven't had time to do my goals yet, but I'd better make time soon-ish. Getting to my goals is what keeps me going.

Okay, so another overpayment of £1 made today. Insignificant amounts but it all adds up, plus I don't want to throw every penny I have at it and then leave myself short as I'll just get annoyed with myself.

Spent £8 on a few fresh bits and some household bits today and food for my piggies. If it wasn't for them I'd have more NSD'S haha :rotfl:

I got an email this afternoon inviting me to an interview for that 30k job I applied for a while back. I had decided in my head that nothing would come of it so I'm pleasantly surprised. I'll probably spend the next week panicking and worrying, if it happens it happens, if not I'm fine with that too.

Made a £5 overpayment to my Barclaycard this morning. Today should be a NSD as I'm working both jobs so won't have a chance to spend anything!

I was due to go horse riding tomorrow morning as I have TOIL to take, but will probably cancel as that TOIL would serve me better for my interview rather than taking annual leave. As disappointed as that makes me missing out on riding, it's definitely for the right reasons and I'll be saving money.

Cancelled horse riding and paid another £20 off my Barclaycard. Only £57 to go and then it's clear for good!!

However about 30 minutes after making that payment, I went home for lunch and my microwave has packed up so I now have to get a new one (I've looked into the problem online and I don't want to mess with it, sounds dangerous!). If anyone knows of any bargain microwaves for sale please point me in the right direction!
  • I replaced our last broken microwave with a T£sco value one - I think it was about £30 and I used clubcard vouchers. So far so good.

Thanks CCL, the cheapest one I could find was £40 online, I also found a slow cooker for £15, my mum was going to get me one for Christmas so I ordered both and she'll give me the money for the slow cooker. I paid extra for it to be delivered this morning so it had better arrive or I'll be asking for that money back! :p

Another £2 paid off the card today.
